Digital OPKs - anyone use them?

I have been having horrible luck with my OPKs the past two months. I never get a full positive but will get several days where the two lines are really really close but the test line is still not quite dark enough. I am planning to try to digital ones next cycle to try to eliminate the confusion and stress for me and I am wondering if anyone used them and liked them? I hope it helps because they are $$$.

I don't know, but I hope someone else chimes in with some advice. I bought them, and started using them last cycle, but my body was way out of whack, and I started AF again on like CD 14, so I never got a positive.
I have a few more, and I'll probably blow the big bucks one more month this month to see if I get a positive. I agree, the non-digital ones, are hard to read/interprete.

I don't believe on OPK's. At least they don't work for me. I bought a bunch of the clearblue easy brand. I did them every month for over 15 days and never got a +. I used them the month I got and still no +.

I bought a Clearblue Easy monitor on ebay. Just make sure they say new and still sealed. I had always thought I ovulated on day 16 because on a standard OPK the lines looked similar to me. On my CBE monitor it tells you low, high, and peak fertility days. I found out day 16 is a high day, but not peak. My peak day is on day 19. I have not gotten a BFP yet, but I have tested exactly the same every month for 3 months. I hope this helps some.

hi

I was looking at hte monitors and debating whether to buy one. I have used OPKs in the past and had them work for me....but lately they are not coming up +....maybe I am not ovulating but according to my progesterone level last month it seems like i did. Its just so frustrating when everything is riding on them and they aren't clear! If the digital ones don't work for this month, i 'm going to for the monitor.

Digital OPK

This is the first cycle that I have ever used an OPK. I bought the Clear Blue Easy Digital at Target. It came with 7 tests.

Well, today was DC15 and I got a smiley face! I had tried the non digital ones and could not decipher the lines. With a digital, it's either a circle(no surge) or a smiley face(surge)!

Hope this helps and good luck!

XO, Kat

I'm using Clear Blue Easy (digital) and Answer (not digital). Clear Blue Easy gave me a positive yesterday. Answer has only given me negatives.

Same here! Every time I bought a POAS OPK, it never showed anything but negative. My dr started doing blood test (progesterone) to see if I was ovulating every month and the blood work showed I did. Prior to my first IUI, I knew that bec I have a reg (avg 28 day) cycle, I usually ovulate around day 13 or 14 (bloodwork also confirmed this). So I bought the digital OPK (Clear Blue Easy, I believe) at Target for around $30 (with 7 sticks, like Kat posted she did as well) and it worked! I got a smiley face almost immediately (LH surge yeah!!) and I am waiting to see if I will have a BFP this month. Either way, I would 100% recommend at least trying these versus the POAS cheaper versions. The $30 was well worth it!
