It could mean you aren't ovulating, or just aren't ovulating this month. Or you could be ovulating earlier or later (you could try testing over a longer period). And some women never get a positive on the opk even though they are ovulating.

I would check with your dr.

Good luck!

I agree with Lilac: It could mean you aren't ovulating, or just aren't ovulating this month. Or you could be ovulating earlier or later (you could try testing over a longer period). In my case i never got a positive on the opk even though i O on my own each month.

Are you testing at the same time every day? I had trouble, so I moved to testing twice a day. Once in the late morning and once in the mid to late afternoon. Also, you may want to switch to one of the opk kits that has the unequivocal signs like the smiley face rather than trying to decide if the line is dark enough.

Cool

Hi, I also have some problems using the OPK. This is my first month taking Clomid and using and using OPK. We were waiting to get a + result to get our firts IUI. This morning, day 15, it was still -, but I have a drop in my temperature, which means I am propably ovulating. Since yesterday, my CM was eggwhite. I am a little confused...

I have read that in some cases, the pattern of our surge and the time you test will not show a positive result. For example, you may take one test before your surge is detectable by the OPK and another test when LH has already begun to trail and is no longer detectable by the kit. Is it possible I am experiencing this?

It may mean you are not OV. Not everyone OVs everymonth. You could ask your doc to test your progesterone levels (they test mine on CD 21-23). Generally, if the levels are over 15, then you have OV that month. Lower than that, you probably did not.
