OMG!! OMG!!!OMG!!!

I've gotten 3 positive readings on my OPK's between last night and this morning!!!

I can't believe it's actually true...that I could be OVULATING on my own!!!

I'm so exctied. What a miracle it would TRULY be to possibly get pregnant on my own this month.

I started taking them along with 2 pregnancy tests (both came out negative) because I'm still waiting on to show...and I've had EWCM on and off over the last 2 weeks but pretty consistantly over this week.

(Can this be true? I have PCOS...so I normally don't ovulate and my periods are always very rare. Could I get this LH surge and still not ovulate?)

Hi ! First let me say good luck ! Yes the test can say you are olvulating and you don't because that means that your body is making eggs but it dose not mean that your body is releaseing them some times .

away and see what happens! I know how you feel....that happened to me this month (O'd on my own, cd 19 - the first time in many many months!) And now i am (just!)

In answer to your question you can still get a positive LH surge as its the follicel that produces the hormone but this does not mean that the egg will be released as it might not reach the maturity
what tests have you had done to see if there is any chance that you are ovulating ???

Well, this was a natural cycle. I can't go back to my RE to get back on the Follistim injectables until after two cycles have passed since my D&C.

So this cycle just happened naturally while waiting for my to come...I was getting anxious so I used the OPK's and then got the positive.

I'm not 100% sure I ovulated but it sure felt like it...I had similiar pains to when I ovualted on the follistim.

Unfortunately we got a this month. So this new cycle will be all natural again and then when shows we can go back to the RE for follistims injectables.

I'll start testing with OPK's again just in case...I ovulate on my own...again...while we are waiting this month.

But it does suck to know that you can get a positive LH surge and not ovulate.

firstly congrats on +ve opk...i hope u did ovulate and release mature eggs....i just had a question for u...did u do anything different this cycle...like lose weight??? or go on metformin or something like tht..tht cud have aided ur ovulation..or was it just completely spontaneous....??

I just wanted to say good luck too! I know what it is like to wonder if you are ever going to ovulate! I did and look what happened Good Luck!!!

Congratulations and I wanna tell you that it is possible. I did ovulate on my own without the meds after my doctor suggested. I had FET and became pregnant. It was my first IVF and I became pregnant with the first try. Don't loose hope it's possible.
