I read the instruction paper from my OPK box and it says that Cysts can cause a false positive?

Anyone expeience this?

I believe I actually did ovulate...especially since I've had lots of EWCM.

But my ovary on my left side is feeling pretty sore. Similiar to the way it feels when I have ovulated with several eggs. Which I thought was causing me some OHHS symptoms in the past.

But this cycle was completely natural...no meds...so I highely doubt I ovulated with more than one egg....I'd be lucky enough if I actually ovualted at ALL on my own...since I've never known that I have, and always had very irregular periods.

It started hurting last night (that's around the time I should have ovulated). I first noticed it while using the restroom (sorry TMI). I had started to lean foreward and got an instant pain in my left side. I tried it very slowly a couple more times and still very sore to lean foreward. I didn't notice it much after that(unless I was going to the restroom). Now the pain has changed to the way it has felt it the past...when I ovulated..with lots of eggs. Whenever I use the restroom I feel pressure/pain in my ovary...especially when i try and push just a tiny bit.

These are all familiar feelings to the last 2 times I ovualted. I always assumed it was from ovualting with lots of eggs and experiencing some OHHS symptoms. But now I'm not sure...how could I have OHSS when I did a natural cycle?

Could those feelings be from cysts? I've never felt those "bathroom pressure/pains" when I've had cysts before?

Anyone feel those symptoms as normal ovulation symptoms?

I really want to believe I did ovualte...even if I also have cysts...but I'm doubting myself now...after reading that cysts can cause a false positive .
