after surge, how long before you get....

... your period? Obviously, if it has not been fertilized? Is it a set time, or just varies woman to woman? 46 and I know I'm ovulating and test, proved it... saw the mucus, face breaking out, hormones are surging, a little pain in the ovaries,........ there is action there. Whether or not my eggs are good I don't know.
