Question can doctors get it wrong

anyone ever got preggers when the doc said you didnt ovulate????????

I know you need to ovulate to get preg - but can they miss it? I had a US on day 16 showing small follies (8.7) then a gain on day 20 showing follies 9.7. but maybe I ovulated early ??? Is this possible??

I was on Clomid and was OPK testing until day 24 and never got a positive. On day 14 ultrasound I had very small follicles <12cm, but when I went for my blood test to start provera on day 32 I got a positive beta and was pregnant with my youngest son. So it is entirely posible to ovul;ate later than normal observation and get pregnant. Hope this helps!
