Angry Help.... Follies Not Responding To Follitism!!! So Scared

I went in on day 11 and my follies were a 10 and 11. I did follitism injections for 3 days and went in today for another follie scan and my follies are still the same size no growth at all!!! Ugh! So dr has ordered me a higher dosage of follitism in hopes that they grow! Has this happened to anyone? I'm so frustrated. At what size do eggs release and ovulate? Any advice???

I have found it difficult to get anyone to answer me on here. I really hope you don't have that experience.
All I can tell is from my own experience. I went in on day 10 and my follies were also only 10 and 11. I am not taking any kind of fertility medication or anything though, so I don't know if your follies should be larger because of your medicine.
Like I said, my follies were 10 & 11 mm on day 10, but on day 15, I had one that was 19mm. I don't know how big the follies have to get before they release the egg.

Sorry if I wasn't much help, but thats all I know. Keep us updated.

Sorry to hear that they still aren't growing. Don't get discouraged though...I know, better said than done. It's hard not to, but we all know, stress doesn't help us to get . I am also reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and it says that stress can't directly keep you from getting pregnant, but it can keep you from ovulating.

Don't give up! We can do this. Thanks for the luck, I will let you know how it goes.

Mommie2b,

All doctors and success stories are different, but my dr. likes them over 20. I think the 20's is considered "normal or average" to be able to expect eggs, but like I said, I think everyone's different. I am sure there are cases where someone had success with something different...

Also, I have had a great time on these boards seeing my and other's questions answered quickly, with loads of kindness and support.

Also, google is a FAB tool. You can google all sorts of stuff to see what others like yourself have said in the past - knowledge is power. For instance i have put in "high fsh" or "only 2 follicles" or "IUI with high fsh" and found tons of info.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!! It's why they call it a roller coaster!

Mimosa,
I have seen lots of questions answered on here but my questions seemed to go unanswered for some reason.
I have to go in tomorrow for my 10 day sonogram. Do you know what size would be normal for follies on CD 10?

You are right though...it is definitely a roller coaster.

Hey Shawn!

If it were ME..... I would obsessively read all of these google links

10 day follicle size - Google Search

then when I went in, ask the dr or nurse while they are looking at them...... what are they? How big do you want them to be now?

I forget so much stuff... I try to make myself remember ONE question to ask them every time - or 2 questions... I hate calling all the time, and they charge me....

Get an idea before you go in - and then ASK THEM while they are doing it - They don't want you in the dark!!! It's hard to think of questions when you are in there and they are telling you all this info - thats why it's important to research before you go in.... for instance - I am waiting for my first ultra sound - from obsession - I know that
1. It could be tubal
2. It could just be an empty sac
3. We may not hear a heartbeat YET
4. there may never be a heart beat
5. this one could go fine and the next ultrasound go bad...
6. Everything can work out fine.....

Now, when I go in on Sunday, if I hear "Molar Pregnancy" I know what that means....... I'm more prepared for questions then and there!

I guess what I am saying is talk to people on here - but google stuff too! We aren't alone in this!!!!! So many people have asked our questions before!!!!!
