i've been checking my CM for the past few months and not once have i seen egg white cervical mucous. i'm worried that i'm not ovulating or that if i am my CM is too thick for sperm to swim through. :-(

Have you been taking folic acid? I found that if I had stopped taking folic acid my CM was no longer watery then eggwhite before ovulation. I also took evening primrose oil everyday as well from CD1 up to ovulation & took fish oil suppliments after ovulation up til CD1.

I don't always have egg white CM & I totally rely on the changes of my CM to determine when I ovulate. I've tried Pre-Seed & that's suppose to mimic CM because it won't kill sperm.

Sometimes I'll go so far as using my fingers & squeezing on my cervix to get some of the CM to see what it is like. I've had so many different experiences with my CM it drives me nuts! Some months I found eggwhite CM leaking all over my undies, some months I'd be soooo dry! But the best CM was found when I was taking folic acid daily.
