2.9 Progesterone too low??
Is a 2.9 level of progesterone TOO low to have ovulated? I had my 3rd IUI last month, and my prog level (on 3/29) was a 2.9. The months before that it was around 19. I am 3 days late, and wonder if there's a possibility that I, in fact, could have ovulated and might be pg... Please, can anyone help? I'm just too scared to take a hpt. I may do it soon, though.

(17dp5dt) 12/20- 1st U/S...One little "bun" in the oven! Saw HB 130bpm 1/3- 2nd U/S... The little "bun" is getting bigger! HB is now 174 bpm...Graduated to OB!! 1/22- 1st OB appt...Great! Baby measured exactly to the day! Got to see baby shake his/her fist at us!! What day was this? I think they like to see something over 10. But who knows, God has strange ways. Keep the faith, I hope its a BFP for you.

Well, curiosity got the best of me and I did a hpt. Negative. But, still haven't started and today is day 32. hmmm...

i have had a result of 2.9 before and the RE said not to bother with the betta because the low number showed that i did not ovulate...B

On CD 24 they want to see your progesterone levels ABOVE 10 to indicate ovulation. They pretty well say anything below 10 and you haven't ovulated. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Good luck.

My progesterone level is 4.6-5.3 in that range believe right in middle...can someone tell me if good or bad. Doctor said I probably ovulated, but to call him next Monday with either AF or I will probably have to go in for a blood test with my progesterone where it's at....

My History: 12- irregular cycles 17- rushed to er diagnosed with dysmennorhea 21- Dysplasia 23- Diagnosed with infertility due to no ovulation and trying clomid beginning of Sept. 2009 August 26th 2009 start first round of provera  September 10 2009 first round of c lomid c d 5-9 October 1st CD 1 Oct. 5, 2009 first day of clomid CD 5-9  Oct. 16, 2009 Ovulated  Oct. 21, 2009- Progesterone 24.8 they say excellent level Oct. 28 AF Shows up debating when to start clomid after two cycles of but will start soon. November 19, Doctor's nurse calls and thinks I'm pregnant based on my progesterone level of 54.8....we shall see...but each month getting better ovulation   No Children just our puppy dutch
