Chrams ~ Guess what, to play it extra safe I scheduled the US on the 20th, so I guess I did end up scheduling it on Aedyn's B-day .... I can't wait to hear your birth story! It's coming soon!
That would put us at 6 weeks 4 days, so that all goes well! There could be two in there, and if that happens, YES you would have to come and pinch me..... I would seriously be in SHOCK ! That would mean I have a 3 1/2 year old, a 1 1/2 year old, AND a twins, how would I ever leave the house? I thought I would never be able to have a big family and now I just can't belive it!

Kelly ~ Glad you like the Blog, I love being able to look at it and see how much the kiddos have changed in just a couple of minutes! I wish I would have had a blog in the hospital so Avery could see what all I went through, but I didn't know about them until afterwards!

Thank you everyone! I'll keep you posted on the U/S ~ I'm just trying to stay calm and relaxed!
I was at TARGET and found some cute prego pants, I bought them, and was standing in line, and my MIL was there! I had to stand where she couldn't see them, I doubt she did! It was funy, and I was so tempted to tell her! YES we will wait until for sure AFTER the U/S.... I think we really are going to do the BLOG thing and just post a picture of the POAS, and see who calls us first! My mom still doesn't even know. She knows we did FET, I don't think she understands it, but she hasn't asked if we are prego or not! She's off today, so I'm wondering if she's going to stop by?

I am not sure what happens next. We just made the appointment for next week. So I am hoping that we can make this happen naturally, but I am not sure! I pray we don't have to wait much longer

Dre! Aug 20 is going to be a beautiful day to see two little heartbeats and meet our little Aedyn

dont worry about mom - my mom never asked about our IVF or FET, she just didnt really understand it all. She was thrilled when I called to tell her.
But with this pregnancy, she didn't tell anyone until Wednesday that I was having a baby in 2 wks - she even asked that I not send shower invites to some of the family and friends. She is still very sad about the boys and wanted to be very sure Aedyn was coming. So when she gets here, all the friends and family that don't know will be very very shocked when they get the announcement

Mine is at 9:30...... I am going to be sooooo scared, I remember with Avery, I was so scared, and he put the thing up and there it was, I was glad he did it so fast! That's experience for you!

we dont have a time scheduled, basically the hospital will call when a bed is available

9:30 would be 8:30 our time......if i am not in L&D or having major contractions - I will call before your Appt to send my love and prayers!

Christine, why do they do the amnio? If the lungs are not matured yet, would they not deliver you now? If that is the case and you could still wait, than why not wait?

the amnio is to ensure lung development and decide if we need a steriod shot before induction.

because i have diabetes and am on an insulin pump and my blood sugars have been too well controlled these last few wks, they believe that she is not getting the nutrients she needs to thrive as the placenta may not be working properly --- 99 percent of the time with diabetes, the mother's blood sugar is very very difficult to control in the last few wks of the pregnancy because the placenta is creating an overload of hormones which causes the body to be unable to breakdown and process insulin properly.
In my case, my blood sugar has been perfect and my insulin intake has actually decreased instead of increasing.

while i dont think it is anything to worry about....they are keeping a very close eye on my blood sugar....every 2 days - to see what is going on.

even today, after lunch, two hours after eating, my sugar was 68 - it should have been around 90-120. I ended up having to consume over 100 grams of carbs to get it back up and stay up until dinner time.

this not only puts stress on her little body, but it exhausts me.

long story....i know, i am sorry

and to top that off....diabetic babies are much larger at term and have a higher rate of emergency c-sections as they cannot travel down the birth canal and are jaundice.

at least we know at 37w4d - she should still be under 9lbs and over 6lbs - which should be okay for my narrow hips...

okay - that was even a longer explaination than i had planned.


Oh Yeah!!! Dre ---- have you stopped POASing? when I found out in january, i think i poas'ed every other day just to see those two lines until the u/s

1 final P17 shot tonight and then 9 more days to the amnio and 1 more after that to see her smiling face and to see Dre's little peanut(s) ultrasound photo!!!!
