Okay, so I am way behind on doing anything with a picture album or baby album. I have been taking tons of pictures and writing events down but have done nothing with them. Anyway, I was wondering for those of you who scrapbook, are there home parties you can have? Like Southern Living, Partylite, Pampered Chef have parties in your home....isn't there something for scrapbooking? I need to get some help getting started either by taking a class at Michael's or something or either doing something at my house.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I use How Fast They Grow - Award-winning and patent-pending, Digi-scrapbook® allows you pick from 324 page designs, then edit, share and order your 12x12 creations." it is an online scrapbook and it is fairly easy to use. I thought it was expensive at first until I went to the craft store and saw how much all of the stuff costs.

Thanks for the idea! A friend of mine said she uses snapfish.com to make her own albums. She said that the quality is incredible. I agree with the expense of the supplies, not to mention that they are big and they take a lot of time to make which I don't have a lot of.

Laurie - I have used Kodak for calendars and albums... totally recommend using them or snapfish... it's not cheap, but like amsa said, scrapbooking yourself is not cheap either...

I have a huge appreciation for those that are good scrapbookers but I was just overwhelmed standing in the aisle of supplies. I keep the website on my favorites and steal a minute here and there to jot down notes and then edit and add pictures and I send the completed page through e-mail to my Mom to see and keep up with us.

Laurie - I did buy one of the baby books that has some blank pages and some with fill in the blanks such as I had my first smile_____. It has a page for each month and each monthly page has a spot for a picture. It's been a little easier to keep up with. I've got a bag in Aiden's closet and I'm always throwing things in their to add to the book when I have time like the tickets from the first time we went to the zoo, etc. It's definitely hard to find some spare moments

Okay, so I have to say I played around on Snapfish last night and had a lot of fun. It is easy, no mess, you can do it without holding a baby and pretty inexpensive when you consider buying the scrapbook supplies. A friend of mine is going to bring me her book today from vacation. She swears that the quality is amazing.

Peach - I am also going to get a "baby" or "memory" book as well for each baby with the teeth, crawling, walking, etc. I was just trying so hard to figure out what to do with all these pictures. I am going to individualize the two books as well and have one for each baby. I hope I have taken an equal amount of pictures. I think I have.

Laurie - For pictures, do it online! I've ordered books from Kodak before and they come out really nice. Someone recommended this site to me. Seems easy enough and more layout choices and cover choices if you want to take another look around. My only issue with Kodak is it takes a while to upload your photos. A little on the slow side. I would have to copy the individual photos that I wanted to upload into a new folder and then upload that folder b/c otherwise it would take forever. I'm sure you have lots of pictures of both your adorable girls! But, I know what you mean. My mom made me a beautiful baby book with all these sweet memories and my youngest brother has a couple of dates filled in and only pictures with the rest of us! Good luck!!
