Christine-I was just looking at Aedyns pic from your post and still cannot believe how much hair she has!

I have a cold ladies, ugh! A cough and stuffy nose and hope it doesnt affect Jackson, he is already getting loose stool from the antibiotic. Do you ladies know if anything I can take that is safe while breastfeeding? I think I am going to make an appt with a lactaction consultant at the place in the mall we have here that is supported by the hospital. And I was a bad girl and pumped at 2 am and then not again until 10...it was all because Jackson slept from 6:30 until 9:30 and even then I had to wake him up to change him and give him a bottle, he is up to 3 oz. so I think he is getting fuller longer, or maybe going through a growth spurt! I will have DH download the new pics onto the computer and then try and get them sized down to post, that is the biggest pain in the behind! I will try and post his pic from the hospital but will post this message first because last time I tried to paste a pic in it lost my message! Hope your weekend is going well!

Sarah- You can take tylenol Cold. My Ob gave me a list of meds that can be taken while pregnant and breastfeeding.....my allergies are bothering me right now...so I am MISERABLE!!!!! I am taking tylenol sinus but it really isn't cutting it. I hope you feel better!

Sarah - Jackson is so so cute!
those big red rosie cheeks are adorable!

Aedyn's biggest thing is while she is trying to fall asleep, grabbing her hair and screaming bloody murder........then it takes forever for her to get sleepy again. I am afraid she is going to pull chunks of hair out and will have bald spots in the back.
DH and I chatted about putting hats on her while she sleeps, but eventually that will get old, as her hair is getting really long really fast.

Christine: How is the domiperdone going? Have you gotten it yet? I haven't seen a change...been too lazy to call the LC back...also after 9 weeks of trying to boost my supply and getting him to latch, I'm pretty much ready to give up and just pump what I can until end of Feb when I will stop. (Will likely go for #2 in March so can't BF after that). I only have two weeks left of maternity leave and would like to enjoy it with Trey.

Sarah/Anirtak: Amazing breastmilk amounts after pumping!!! Totally envious!

So my little guy has started drooling consistently in the past week...think this is a precursor to teething...just not sure how soon. Also, in the last week, he started sleeping between 6-9 hours at night. Yipee!!

To answer Christine's call for new pictures, here is a picture from over the weekend of Trey...he wore his fleece jacket and jeans for the first time.

Trey is just so darn cute - he has quite a bit of hair on him too. 6-9 hours.......i wish - maybe in a few wks Aedyn will do the same thing.

I am still waiting on the Dom to get her - i am pretty much pumping now when my breasts start to hurt, because if i keep to the 3 hour, i only get a few units and soreness.

Since I am not going to go back to work, I will be able to put all my efforts into it when the dom gets here. until then, I am doing my best.

We are also going to start to try again this spring for #2, thinking more like April/May though.

I bet your incision hurts!!! As I was feeling MISERABLE last night and sneezing every 10 seconds, I did stop and was thankful that this didnot happen a week sooner because of my incision. Mine is pretty much healed and does not hurt anymore. I hope you are feeling better!

Katrina-I was feeling so much better until this darn cold, and did you have any hardness around the incision? I called last Friday for this reason and the NP said it was probably due to a slight infection and so I have been on Amoxicilan 500mg/3xday since then and it still hasnt gotten much better...I am wondering if it is just swelling from all the sneezing and coughing and putting pressure on the incision or if I just need to give the meds more time. DH told me I have to call the doctor's tomorrow but I hate having to try and explain everything over the phone!

And I agree all these babies are just growing up to fast! I looked at Jackson today and even though it is only a little over a week he looks so much bigger and more person like than he did when he was born!

Sarah- I did not have any hardness around my incision. I did have swelling above and below the incision and was told that it was normal. I would definelty call your doc. When I had the swelling and wasn't sure...I called and spoke to a nurse she assured me that it was normal....the next day I was still not feeling comfortable and called again....and of course I talked to the same nurse....at this point I told them that I wanted to see a dr. and they had me come in that day...the dr. was really nice about it. I wouldn't worry about what they think...we need to be advocates for ourselves!

I agree Christine...Madison will be 4 weeks tomorrow and I can't believe where the time has gone. It's hard to remember how small she was 4 weeks ago!

We all just need to enjoy every moment with our little ones...because they will not be little for long!
