Question Warning TMI

okay so here goes I had my DD back in March and I have been on the pill for quite awhile now she is almost 8 months old and I had my period a few weeks ago then I stopped for about a week or week and a half now I am having a lot of dark (pretty much black looking) clotty discharge I am just wondering if this is normal I don't go back for my yearly pap until december I am just wondering if I should bump it up or if this is normal

i don't really know if it is normal, but i would have to say no. i would just call your nurse and ask rather than moving up your appointment. good luck and i hope that things work out

I would call my OB just to make sure everything is ok. Maybe you didn't shed all the lining during your period and this is left over from it.

I have had the same thing and the OB said it was normal. Just really old blood. If you notice a foul order or any mucus with it you may have an infection.

Blaine is 7 months and I am having the same issue. It can't be too weird.
