I think for me this round will be easier because we already have Brenna AND we know it is possible for me to get pregnant - incredibly difficult but possible. My hardest part with the previous attempts is the not knowing and the thought I might go childless.

Well the nurse called to say she got DH's sperm sample and we are all set to go. So I guess he still has some (which is what they were checking for). I am not sure why because he is not the problem but I guess we don't want to go through with everything only to find out he has none on the day we need them.

They haven't asked for my DH sample yet. I'm assuming they aren't worried or maybe that will come later. I have some on ice from the last transfer for a "just in case" (at $100 a year, ugh)

Well it seems AF may or may not be starting today. I have been spotting since late yesterday but no real flow. I called my RE's office because I am suppose to get an FSH blood test done and start lupron today if it starts. She says to wait to see if I get a real flow today before getting the test. The crappy thing is if it does not start today than I have to drive to the clinic that is further away, 1 hour 45 min for the screen scan because the one that is only 45 mins away is closed on wed. So basically I am in AF limbo and she was not even suppose to come until Friday and she is always 30 days!! WTH is going on here. On top of that I was going to order my meds today to get them tomorrow so I do not even have my Lupron to start. The nurse said that was fine I can just start tomorrow. I am so nervous!

Have you checked to see if a closer doc can run your FSH blood work - my ObGyn ran mine before I even started going to an RE. Just a thought to save you the stress and time of driving far away.

Oh sorry I can go to my local hospital for the FSH levels it is the 1st ultrasound they call a screen scan to make sure my uterus and ovaries are ready for the cycle that i would have to drive further for. At this point my spotting is almost gone so it looks like I may be in a waiting period this is weird because AF is almost always right on time and normal. Thanks for your suggestion though!

Hope everything went well with your transfer Sandy.

AFM- I went in for a day 10 ultrasound on Tuesday and I had 2 10's on my right side and a 13 and 15 on my left. My estrogen was high though so they are bringing me back in tomorrow. If I have more than 2 mature follicles we will do an IUI but 2 or less we will just do natural. Hoping at least 1 matured so I have a chance. This will be our last cycle for a while. Focusing on the holidays with Alex and then the adoption in the spring. I am meeting with RE about possibly looking into a donor egg IVF cycle in 2012 sometime. Just wanting to know how much money we need to save and haven't decided between using a known or unknown donor yet. I do know for sure that I will not be using my own eggs in any future IVF cycles.

Just waiting for AF STILL! I took a hpt and it's negative, so my RE is inducing AF since I am on day 34 and she is nowhere to be found.
