Let the obsession begin!
Hey gals. I just had my ER yesterday and I'm waiting to hear the report on how they did. They retrieved 17 eggs...the same exact number as last time! Praying for a good report today. No need to respond really, I just wanted to start myself a thread that I can chart/obsess over my embryos and my 2ww symptoms!

 3 IUI cycles cancelled, 1 IUI, bfn 1/12 BFP on natural cycle= ectopic 1st IVF: 2/7- ER- 17 eggies!! 2/10-ET 2 8-cell 6-7dpt hpt=  Betas: 2/22= 170, 2/25= 499, 2/29=2857 1st u/s 3/13-140 BEAUTIFUL bpm! 2nd u/s 3/27 - The growth is amazing! 182 bpm U/S 5/27/08 GO TEAM BLUE!!! THEY WERE WRONG! We've switched teams...we're now THINKING PINK!!! Going for baby #2! FET Oct 6th - BFN IVF #2: ER Jan 7th- 17 eggs again! WE HAVE TWELVE EMBABIES! Thank you, God! I feel so happy and blessed right now. I trully feel that within those twelve embryos is the completion (or addition) to our family. They said they would call tomorrow to let me know if I am doing a 3d or 5d transfer. They said probably 5d. I've only done a 3 day...any experience w/ 5 day transfers girls? What do they like to see to hold off til the 5th day?

Woohoo!!!!! That is awesome!!! They retrieved 12 from me, 10 were mature, and 8 fertilized. They said the same thing that they were going to wait and see about transferring a 3d or a 5d. They ended up doing a 5d. When I asked what the difference was, they said that when you have a larger amount of embies that are growing, the lab has a better opportunity to determine which ones look "the best". By day 5 you could have morula or a blastocyst but the lab will really be able to tell the quality and how they are developing.
I'm so excited for you and can't wait to hear how your ET and 2ww go! It's always fun to see another Amy on the boards with a good success story!
