I've told my DH, more than once, he's so lucky we didn't have a girl because I would buy so many clothes for her; girl clothes are just so much cutier in my opinion than boy clothes. I very seldom buy clothes for Wyatt, my parents are always sending clothes for Wyatt...thank you Mom and Dad!!

Gymboree is evil; I think they waft crack out the doors or something to draw you in. I was this outdoor mall thing the other day w/ only one thing to pick up (my bracelet w/ my new C charm, ahhhh) and kept repeating will not go in Gymboree, will not...even made sure I didn't park very near it and, wham, there I am at the register before I even knew what happened. It is like one those episodes of Law and Order where the suspect swears they have no recollection of doing the crime and that psych. guy says yeah, it is for real, no memory. I have no idea how four dresses ended up on that counter or how my credit card got out of my wallet. But of course I ripped the tags off as soon as I got home to avoid buyers remorse and actually returning any of it; she does look mighty cute though. You know you have a problem when you run out of drawer and hanger space...then they go and send you a 20% off coupon...EVIL I tell you.

My DH is worse than me. He travels and spends the guilt away. G has not 1, not 2 but 3 velour Puma Sweatsuits (so totally Goodfellas) with matching sneakers ( I guess DH forgot we live in FL- and he has yet to wear them). Now he has started collecting $30 vintage T's for him- Goonies, Star Wars,Beatles, and Lucky Brand jeans. They are adorable but my little Chunker boy grows so quickly he barely gets to wear them.

Now all I can think of is G saying, "chu tink I'm funny" in that mafia way!! If he hijacks any good Gymboree or Baby Gap trucks, let us know, we'll totally pay under the table. And maybe you can unload the sweatsuits on LP or one of the northern boys, G is never going to able to were those is he????

That's why I don't buy clothes for Wyatt...he grows out of everything so fast. My Mom likes to get stuff for him from her friend's baby resale shop; which is fine by me!!! I am a stay at home mom, so why buy expensive clothes for him that nobody but myself (and DH when he gets home) sees him in. Don't get me wrong, I do buy clothes for him, but not near as many as I would if "he" would have been a "she".

PS: I'm so glad I got my boy...I can't imagine my life without him!

OMG I had to call in one of my friends at work to read this because my family is WAAAYYY Italian like right off the boat and he is always joking that my family is really part of "the family". I will agree with him that some of the black and white pics from my wedding look like something the feds took.

Robin, when you log on to the page the video is on just click up in the address bar and copy that link. That's what I've been doing anyway and so far it's worked.

funny, because i save their "good" outfits for when they're home w/ me and i can enjoy them. If they're going to daycare, they wear the hand-me-downs!

meg- i'm right w/ you on the crack to draw you in... I actually ended up selling my 20% off coupon on ebay to avoid the pressure of "having" to use it myself... but i do have $50 in gymbucks to spend when that comes around...

AMSA- way too cute on the vintage tees- dh has dd in Puma as well- but we just bought a 6x shirt for her so that it'll last a little longer! (of course, i get it home and it's really not that big on her, we prob could have gotten an 8) I've restrained myself from buying any shoes for my little boy, but dd may just have 6 or so pairs she can currently choose from... hmm, at least.

Hola Chicas -

Man alive, so much to comment on - velour jump suits, water restrictions, sleep sacks, too hot/too cold weather, the mafia, Gymboree, grass growing or lack there of, irrigation systems, baby names - whew!!

So I saw the allergist yesterday and he determined my hives/welts are hormonal in nature. Ummmmmm, please don't make me pay you a copay for that since I could have told you that without me coming in here. Only way to prove that is for me to come off the hormones, and I can't do that, so continue the Zyrtec and deal with it. But they took a gallon and a half of blood from me to test me for everything and will let me know next week. Nurse drawing the blood thinks I am a IV drug abuser since the vein I gave her has obvious old puncture marks thanks to my frequent IVF labs. Oh well.

Then I left my car headlights on last night and killed the battery, so that made for a fun morning today.

Moving on . . . . . . . . Robin, how about naming one of the girls Ann and the other Marie? Just a thought.

God I am always in the Gap. There is one near my job and every day I say "No I am not going in today" but as Meg said I have no recollection of how i ended up in there and worst at the register paying In my defense though I am really good at buying on sale or using coupons to save but sheesh does my kid have way too much clothing. TOday I went to the outlets near my house just to go to Banana Republic to have them remove the alarm thing off a pair of jeans my hubby bought and how did I end up with a bag from Carter's & a bag from Children's Place in Gabriels's stroller basket, YIKES!!!! OK is their a Baby Momma Shopper Annonymous anywhere I can go to?
