Get out, had no idea you could do that, how much did you sell if for?? Now it will probably be me buying it from you, if the shipping address comes up SC, check w me to avoid the ebay charges It is a lot of pressure knowing that the discount is there...just like the 15% off at BRU that I HAD to use today to get a water table...if you don't have one, they are terrific fun for outside (when <100 degrees of course).

I've only read the last 2 pages of this thread so forgive me...but congrats to all who are pg here and to Irina with her twinsies...I'm so excited for all of you!

When we went to Branson last month, we hit the outlet stores pretty hard...I think the most time I spent in a children's store was the Osh-Kosh outlet. The overalls are just too darn cute...I bought him a pair of jeans overalls and 2 pairs of Osh-Kosh overall shorts...and several one piece outfits too. Dh was like, no more honey...then I snuck into the Tommy Hilfiger outlet and bought a couple outfits for Joshie in there too (thank God dh let me get my own debit card, heehee). He still doesn't know...he was in the Nike store with my older son....I'm sneaky like that!

Blessings, Michelle

Calling all "city" girls: does having a a baby in car qualify you for the HOV lane? Am driving through Charlotte tomorrow (Robin, I'll wave if you tell which exit) and will probably do it either way and plead ignorance but figured I'd check and see if was actually OK. It IS two people and I got away w/ it the first time I drove through simply b/c I didn't know I was even in the HOV lane until I got to that part where you aren't allowed to get out and wouldn't you know it, I am behind grandpa driving 55 and all the cars in the regular lane are cruising by me laughing but I was stuck and scared that if I broke the rules getting out, I would get caught for not only breaking that rule but for being there in the first place....and my DH can't get me out of my traffic issues, not that he would if could anyway!

I'm pretty sure it has to be 2 adults. We have them here in Atlanta too. Motorcycles qualify as do totally electric cars - not my hybrid like the dealer told me

Aiden has way more clothes than me! And, I keep having to pack them up as he grows like a weed.

Hmmmmm, no idea . . . . . although am not a city girl, so don't know why I thought I could help anyhow. Maybe BO could be your surro-DH should you run into any problems? Although that might only work up here . . . . . Come up here and let's try out that HOV thing and see what happens, lol.

I hate when the other cars drive by and laugh after I have made a not so bright move - but I do enjoy being the laugher at times.

OK: add that to this list of stuff we'll do when C and I come to help w/ the new baby. Sure BO will LOVE that: meg, C, LP (and maybe Amy's little Jack and Alex if they can catch a flight, Alex for sure b/c Robin will be so busy she won't even notice he's gone) cruising at a very high rate of speed, in the HOV lane w/ C facing forward and I'm sure she will still not be 20 lbs and I'll say but BO is my sort-of DH, his real DW is home w/ new baby, I mean who's going to write THAT ticket. I may try the ol steal the diapers from Target too just to see if I can, the thrill that one time was intoxicating. And given how fast I"ll be driving, it will only take like 10 minutes to get to your Target off where Puff the Magic Dragon lives (had to type that b/c I don't know how to spell that place). And ha, ha just realized that I may have to use BO for something else: songs on DH Ipod are NOT listed as "illicit" but "explicit"; illicit would be illegal, what an idiot I am. Yeah, Ozzy is weird but not against the law last time I checked.
Will update all on HOV progress tomorrow, if I had a Blackberry I would do it on the other side of Charlotte. I'm practically drunk and dizzy at the thought of breaking the law (potentially).

I would sue them, that is reason enough to buy the car from what I hear and saw that one time I did it, it was awesome until I pulled up on gramps.
Will let y'all know...maybe I'll go on a motorcycle? Should C sit backwards on those too?

Can we see pictures of C backwards on the motorcycle with the stolen Target diapers? Does he get to ride in the front or the back? Maybe we can find him one of those sidecars! Have fun

Good morning ladies -

Hope you all survived the weekend heat wave that everyone seems to have experienced. We hit the pool on Saturday and then got soaked with rain storms on Sunday which did nothing for the heat - only made it muggier, if possible.

Anyhow - why do people think it is ok to say whatever they **** well please to a pregnant lady? Why do people think, "You sure there's just one in there?" is an appropriate comment? I was in Starbucks this morning (shocking, I know), and the girl behind the counter was telling the customer in line behind me that she was pregnant. I had already ordered and was down at the pick-up counter, so I wasn't watching them, just hearing their conversation, but then the customer asks Strbx girl when she is due and she replies, "November". Customer than says, "You sure there is just one in there, chukle chukle". I am now walking out the door and I hear Strbx girl say, "I would have loved two, but we checked, there's just one".

Ummmmmmmm, is it just me or was that a way of saying, "Wow - you look huge and you're not even due until November - you must be having a whole litter of babies!". And Rude Customer was a lady - you would think she would be sensitive to remarks concerning body image.

When I was 12 weeks pg with LP we were at a wedding and a "friend" came up to me (somewhat inebriated, I should add) and said something similar, "You already have a baby bump! You sure there is only one in there?". I kindly told her that yes, we were having only one baby, and that was because we had lost his twin the week before - and thanked her for asking. She promptly straightened up and looked at me and said, "I didn't know that". No, you didn't, but again, thanks for your comment. Sadly, she was somewhat intoxicated, as I mentioned, and didn't remember the interaction the next day.

Whew - lots to say this morning huh? Guess that is one of my pet peeves - I don't like when people make sly comments to others that could potentially hurt.

Ok, off my soapbox. Happy travels to Megcs, C and DH! We'll miss you - come back soon!

AM, I had this my entire pregnancy. From the beginning people kept asking if I was sure there was only one. I finally got to the point when I said "because we are high risk we've had more then enough ultrasounds to show there is only one healthy baby in there......maybe I'm just FAT." That shut them up!

Omg AM..you crack me up!

Funny..someone said the same exact thing to me too when I was pg...I think around 6 months. Me who has the biggest self esteem issue, felt completely HUGE at that moment and just wanted to crawl under a rock. Some people just don't think before they speak. I hate that!!!
