good morning, ladies...
AM - our friend just e-mailed me, his wife is 11 weeks along and she's gained 30lbs already!!! it's just one baby...

OMG YES!!! Why is pregnancy an excuse for all the a-holes to come out of hiding and give us a complete rundown on our pregnant bodies? A woman (WITCH) I work with made comments to me everyday. I'm not gonna even lie, I am much cuter than she is
 so I soooo badly wanted to say, "I am pregnant and puking, what is YOUR excuse?" Wonder what she is going to say about me when she sees me next in August?Happy travels Meg!! Tell C to hold on TIGHT on that motorcycle! Ok, not to be obsessive, but how much weight gain is average at 20 weeks??

 TTC #1 for 2.5+ years ME: (Amy) 28, tubal damage DH: (Chris) 30, perfect! 3 IUI cycles cancelled due to a # of problems & 1 cycle resulting in BFN 1/12 BFP on natural cycle,ectopic pregnancy ended 1/23/07 1st IVF: 2/7- ER- 17 eggies!! 2/10-ET 2 8-cell 6dp3dt, 7dp3dt hpt= God is so good! Betas: 2/22= 170, 2/25= 499, 2/29=2857 1st u/s 3/13 (My wedding anniversary!) 140 BEAUTIFUL bpm! 2nd u/s 3/27 - WOW! The growth is amazing! 182 bpm U/S 5/27/08 GO TEAM BLUE!!! OMG THEY WERE WRONG! We've switched teams...we're now THINKING PINK!!!

But seriously, I'm sure there is some way to figure it out - normally you should gain between 25-35 . . . . . unless you are under/overweight to begin with, right? . . . . . and they say you should gain about a half a pound/week during second tri? And a pound a week during third? Or is it the other way around??????? Good grief - don't ask me - I got the "are you sure there's only one in there?" comment!!

robin, that sounds like a fantastic reason to bring children into this world!
AM, i have gained 10 lbs. at 20 weeks. I'd really like to gain a total of around 25 or less, but who the heck really cares! If baby Jack is hungry for burgers, pizza and ice cream, then THAT is what he gets!!

Rob&Irina, congrats on twins! I've been lurking a little and saw those "WONDERFUL" comments that people make to pregnant women. Just wait until you have the twins...you'll love the comments you get. People never leave you alone and my favorite question I get..."Oh twins! Were they planned?" Idiots! Wouldn't any twins be a surprise. I just tell them that the pregnancy was planned. And, then they give me the look like "oh, ya that was a dumb question wasn't it." I'm also a little irritated with the question if they are identical. I think I've had that question from every stranger that's approached us. Or, they look at our larger girl and automatically assume she's a boy! Even when she's wearing a dress. Sorry, had to vent a little. On a different note, "Anna" is a great name. I've never hated my name.
Congrats to all the BFPs on this thread! I think its just amazing and such a blessing.
