My third grade sense of humor got the best of me and I am laughing out loud. Thanks I needed that. I would love to tell you about the little girl at my Mom's daycare but it may bleep it out.

Her name was pronounced Shi-THEED but it was spelled
Sh*thead. Her name was written on everything and when I asked my Mom about the new girl she looked at me with a straight face and says" she's a real sh*thead." That was the running joke my entire Senior year of high school. All of my friends came over to see for themselves. Apparently the mother was 14 years old and got some bad advice on naming her child.

NO! Can you even think of that poor girl now? Like when she meets her true love, at a bar, and says, Hi my name is....he's not going to ask her for digits is my guess. Unless his name Harry Pitts or something and he feels he's found his soulmate!

Obviously the baby's mother - and everyone around her who did not stop her - was a shi-theed.

Isn't it crazy what people name their children? Every Sunday they list the birth announcements in the paper. I love reading them for this reason. Poor children!

Question: after C's supper and last bottle last night we're walking through the kitchen and the Exorcist showed up. I mean projectile, two of them, to the point that the rug under the butcher block is now on the street and then a small one in her crib a few minutes later. Seems OK this AM, not great, but she ate and is maybe a little tired (umm, maybe b/c we checked on her feeling her crib etc somewhere in the 'hood of 18 times last night) but happy overall. I am pretty sure she hasn't eaten tainted tomato but who knows...anything to worry about or yet another mystery? Probably got some crap at the zoo, DH of course fussed at me for letting her stick her hands in the goat's mouth (he doesn't so much know that it was also a Llama, a cow and something else in the petting zoo).

Awwww, that is cruel!! Poor little girl. Can you imagine how much she will be laughed at in her life. That is wrong. Maybe the little girl will be called something else for short...maybe like Sh*t...just kidding.
When we were thinking about girls names we liked Alison Sophia. And our last name starts with an "S". So if you take the first letter of each name it spells something unpleasant. DH pointed that out to me and we quickly changed the name. But luckily we had a boy and it wasn't an issue.

Good grief - who is she trying to be, LP? Is she still doing ok this afternoon? haven't read beyond this post, so maybe there is another update to come. It could have been a bug, a virus, or something she ate. As long as she is keeping down liquids, is fever-free, and acting her normal self, I would just wait it out/keep an eye on her. If anything else develops - diarrhea, can't keep anything down, fevers, pulling on ears, refusing liquids and food, rash - I would call the peds.

Going to continue reading - looking for an update . . . . . . . . . . .

LOL!! She is brilliant, not sick!!! And now imitating, well maybe still the Llama, aren't they sort of cranky? I guess she's fine, just a little pooty, both literally and figuratively but keeping everything down and mostly in. Who knows, right?

Ok, no more C updates to read.

Why so quiet today, ladies?

I have been quiet because it is near impossible to type posts while holding your 25 pound son. I don't know what is up with him lately, but we are back on the "hold me 24 hours a day" thing. I won't give you all the exhausting details, but here's a sample: this morning's nap sucked because he will not let me put him down - I swear he is passed out asleep in my arms, and the second his body touches the crib mattress, he's up and crying - this went on for almost 2 hours. I tried even letting him sleep on the bed, which is his preferred sleeping place, and he wouldn't let me let go of him. So our day got off to a rough start, and it threw us off the rest of the day. But he's sleeping in his crib now, ha ha ha on him!! He was so exhausted that he just couldn't fight me anymore, so he rolled over and went to sleep. So I started dinner and came here to catch up.

What's new, chicas? I have another u/s scheduled for tomorrow. 9 weeks - can't believe it. I had another rant about things people say to PG women ready this morning, but now I can't remember it.
