Today is looking sorta cloudy, so don't know what is on the agenda. GNO tonight for dinner - wahoo! Looking forward to having a meal without having to choke it down at record speed. Although I am so programmed to inhale my food now that I think I will probably still do it. Does everyone else do that or is it just me? Ever since LP, I no longer know the meaning of a nice, leisurely meal. I can now finish a meal in 2.3 minutes or sooner if need be. However, now that I swear my uterus is pushing my diaphragm into my throat, I find myself getting really full faster.

Ugh - enough food talk! Good morning!!
Yay no spotting! Yay going out to supper, try to eat slowly and ladylike even though it is against your nature. What does GNO mean...going ? ? Is it a restaurant that y'all have that we don't? Green something Olive, not Olive Garden, I'm so confused now. Getting Nada something?

Girls Night Out!!! I was not getting it either!!!! Have a blast. And yes...I inhale all my meals when I am at home....is there another way to do it?

Speaking of GNO....we just did one Monday. We went to a place called Dinner Afare. You go and assemble 12 meals while drinking wine with your friends. I think there are other places like this....Super Suppers is one. Has anyone ever done this? It is so much fun...I would highly recommend it!

Not too much in whose book? I'd go w/ pg people just so I could have theirs. That is a cool idea, never heard of it. Used to be a caterer in a former life, and well, the wine part we know, hmmm....DH would DIE, says I have professional ADD which is true but that would a neat thing to start. Am going to google right now.
And yes, zoo dude was way cool and got out this long pincher thing and got it back; however, giraffe feeding (by the attendees) starts at 10:00 sharp and the giraffes are no fools so there are all these people standing on the deck w/ hands full of lettuce or some crap that they paid $.25 a handful for (now THAT'S a business opportunity) waiting for Crissy and the crowd to come on over for breakfast and right at 10:00, here they come, all spotted and cute, and C wings her cup at them, wigs them out and they all scurry to the other side of the pen. We got a lot of very (!!) dirty looks so we moved on to the elephants as soon as sippy was retreived. Then one lady, like 20 minutes later, passed us and said, and I'm making this up, "that's the girl who scared the giraffes" Give it up chick, she's ONE. I will say though that when I went before C, I threw an elbow or two to get my hand out there and one of them ate my 25 cents of lettuce and it was worth the money.

You are making this up? I'm impressed that she threw the cup that far-- good teaching mama! And you have to bring your own wine, but they provide glasses.

Ooops, no, I am NOT making that up. Drinking during the day again, and yes, I use C's cup so people don't wonder. I'm not liking that dinner thing as much anymore, I have glasses, lots of them actually, weird fetish (wine glasses and silver) so why would I drive to use someone else's glasses and drink? I mean, don't get me wrong, I have no problems drinking and driving but if I don't HAVE to do it...well darn, tried the quick reply and you can't put the winking dude in, I'm totally kidding. Robin, I'm guessing that's what you meant by no pictures?
And yes, TAKE THE WAGON. Took the stroller before I had the wagon and it is a hassle taking them in and out etc, wagon so much better. Plus we had two kids=only one mode of transport to put in the car! Will post a picture.

Carter and Connor, chillin' at the zoo. And yes, that's a wild turkey who apparently has run of the joint, in the background and now I have to tell the story. DH is BIG turkey hunter (as is my OB aka god) and the season here is April 1-April 30. Orginal due date was first of May and they are both holding their breath that I'll make it, hey dudes, what about me over here? Well, she is small so they induce on the 17th and being the ultimate wife that I am (and what was DH really doing at this point anyway w/ my Mom here), he went hunting on April 20th (day after we came home) and shot the biggest turkey maybe ever, certainly for him. Goes again on the 22nd, even bigger. MUCH talk about the expertise it took to "call them in" and how only people who are really, really talented can call a bird like that, whatever. Then on Mother's Day (maybe a week or so later) we had nothing to do so he somehow convinced me that riding around his hunting "area" would be interesting (y'all remember those days, digging holes sounded good) so off we go and we're stopped at the side of a field and I'm in the back seat nursing (and totally rethinking this whole idea to begin with) when TWO monster turkeys pop out and start doing this strutting thing and putting on a major show so of course I hollered "gobble, gobble" out the window and got yelled at but here they came, right up to the truck, literally looking me in the eye. So I have never let DH live it down about how much talent it takes to make them fluff up or whatever and then at the zoo, this one comes up to the wagon and starts the same gig; zoo girl comes up and says he's not dangerous at all but that she has only seem him do the "mating" strut maybe twice since she's worked there. Sooooo, C is now the Turkey Whisperer. Robin, wishing you hadn't asked about the wagon.
Just give me a call around Thanksgiving and I'll go throw her in a field.
