amsa - some girls are away on vacation and others (me) getting ready for one we are going to see my mom in TN... should we bring Alex's excersauser? he loves that thing, but it's BIG! any ideas?

Ahhh vacation...that would be nice, mine will be spent house hunting in Wichita on Monday and of course finding out what a Giraffe says for Megsc.

Tough one with the excesaucer G loves his as well. It's not something cheap either that you could buy an extra of either. Hmmm...well do you think he will be out of anyones arms long enough to use it? My guess is that Grandma may be taking advantage of this time to spoil him.

Congratulations to the graduating class of 2008. We need diplomas or something...just seems right. Well, Congratulaions to AM and Robin and Irina. It just seems like yesterday y'all got your BFP and now your Graduating (snif snif ) . I bet the next 10 weeks fly by so fast and before you know it we will all be waiting on pins and needles for the gender scan but of course we know it girls all around.

Yaaay on all the good u/s news!!! I feel so lonely, even up here w/ all my friends that I can actually see! Graduation day, how exciting for all!!!! Only had a second but wanted to check on u/s, still agree that 3 girls are headed our way, and say that yes, I drank it off. Sadly MIL did not get up the next morning w/ C so I am still paying for it and Crampy Camilla is hangin' around...don't you just hate a guest that overstays their welcome?
C says hello to all and she can't wait to get home where she can play on the desk while I type and get her 2 cents in. Most of what I say is from her anyway. Keep the good news coming please.
Robin, I wouldn't take anything, I took all this crap to the beach last summer and nobody ever put her down long enough to play, only used the stoller, and that was for my sanity, not hers. This year I'm bringing bathing suits, towels and floatie and NOTHING else...except for 3 suitcases of her clothes of course so that I can change her 9 times a day. Anyone w/ older kids or want to plan ahead AND have a Costco (I don't but Robin I know you do), we just went to the one here and they had Lilly dresses sizes 2T and up for $20 in at least 4 different patterns. Are you kidding me??? I didn't buy b/c by the time C is actually in a 2T, I will have lost if for sure or it will be SO yesterday given that it will probably be like 9 years from now.

Oh and I forgot, talked to OB yesterday (thinks it was a chemical pg but that's not the point) and was at the beach on my cell phone and if everyone remembers, he is a very close second to god (he is my RT) and I think y'all also know I'm fairly good w/ a come back but as I'm talking to him w/ waves crashing in the background he says, "oh wow, I'm jealous, can I hope up for a visit." urrrgggg, goobly gook is what I think I said. Nothing clever, nothing at all, moron is what he is thinking, like how is this girl even raising a child and we have several mutual friends and he even said to me once that so and so says you're SO funny and he kind of said it w/ a question mark b/c I'm such an idiot around him. So now an not pg, Camilla is here and have made a fool in front of him yet again.
Camilla needs an icon in addition to the stick.

I bring Wyatt's Exersaucer every time we go anywhere overnight! He loves it...it's one of those "can't live without things"! I'm going to Memphis in a week to see my sister and her family...where in Memphis are ya'll going?

Robin- any chance your mom can ask friends if they happen to have one? When we visited my grandmother, her neighbor borrowed some baby stuff from her sister for us... an exersaucer, baby high chair and carseat (they met us at the airport so we didn't have to transport one)-- worked well. Although, i've also done vacations w/ just the maclaren umbrella stroller- works well as a high chair in a bind and you can put baby in there w/ toys attached by rings... W/ that many family members, it does sound like Alex will always be held though!

Meg, why does your RE think it was a chem preg? Just cuz AF was late? You never had a pos preg test, right? Is she always on time? here's hoping that this month will work better for you! (i'm drinking a toast of wine to you as we speak) hmm, and now i have to go google lilly dresses to decide if i need to join costco...

Robin - I think a lot has to do with the situation you will be in . . . . when we went on our family vacation with my parents, brother, SIL, and nephews when LP was 4 months, there were more than enough people to hold LP, but there were 2 other kids there that needed attention too, so the Jumperoo that we brought was a lifesaver! We were also gone a full week, so no one was going to hold him and entertain him for that long, lol. Sounds like a family reunion weekend of that many people may be ok, though. Will you have the bulk of the family around all weekend or just one day? What about in the mornings when both you and irina will be getting ready - is he normally in his Exersaucer then at home? LP LOVED his Jumperoo - that's why we had no question about bringing it.

we are going to Columbia, TN... ok, how come Alex has more clothes than I do? his HUGE suitcase is FULL! we decided to take the exersauser, that way he has come safe place to play at while we get ready and stuff... there are going to be other children (read: toddlers) there and i don't want for them to run over Alex, though Alex is about as big as their are, he just can't run yet...
