Hi Ladies,
It takes me days now to get to my laptop b/c my little boy is all over it when he is around! Finaly I got my AF Monday, and today I have started my BCPs. So here is my schedule, it has not been pushed back, thanks god, and only 2 weeks of BCPs! Starting stimulation August 9th, ER on August 20th and we will try to go to the 5 days transfer on August 25th. AM, I hope the appointment went well, I can't belive you are at that stage already! Amsa, Sorry you had to push back your appointment. Last time we went in with my husband we just showed up with our boy, and there was an other couple there with an 2.5 y old boy, former patients as well. The thing was I didn't ask. NT scan report -
All's well! The nuchal fold measured at 1.45 (LP's was 1.5, so practically identical). They took blood and I should get the results in a week. Baby is now measuring ahead at 13 weeks 4 days with a heartbeat of 158. I had the same tech who did my 13 week u/s with LP and made his gender prediction - I was so excited!! I told her to feel free to make one this time. So she looked and looked and finally said, "Well, you see that thing sticking up? That could be something right there, but the area is usually much rounder if it is a boy at this point, so I don't know what it is!!" Argh!!! So now I have my Anatomy Scan scheduled for Wednesday August 27th. I'll be 18 weeks at that point. 5 more weeks of wondering  Anyone want to change their guess - or should we stick with the girl vibe going round?

HEY AM! Sounds like things are going great! Congrats on entering the 2nd trimester! woohoo! so, i am still sticking w/ a girl guess. here's why: at 18 wks they told me boy cause they saw a tiny little "thing" between the legs. well, that "thing" was the female genitalia that was still in the process of shrinking. (or that is how it was explained to me by the peri who shocked me w/ the girl news)

AM I'm glad to hear all is well. You know the 27th will be here before you know it. And ever since Amy and the Jack/Lily switcheroo I don't know what to think so whatever it is it will be healthy and beautiful and LP will make a great big brother.

Inna - Good luck!! Things are really happening! How exciting! We are right here with you, girl, every step of the way. Angela - You know, I still haven't gone to Target . . . . . . . . I should have stopped today, though - it is right down the street from my OB's office, lol! Amy - I'm going with your guess then of a girl! When did they make the correct gender prediction for you - it wasn't too long after telling you Lily was a Jack, right? I'm thinking that since she was so positive with LP at the same time (13 weeks) that it is leaning towards girl since she was definitely not positive today. Otherwise, I am feeling good, thanks. I seem to have developed a minor case of pimples, ugh, and my hormones are bubbling up right under the surface just waiting for someone to piss me off, lol, but otherwise, no complaints!!

AM~ i was 18 wks when we thought it was a jack and 21 when they told us it was a lily. the 1st u/s chick was young and didn't seem to have a lot of experience. i think she was frustrated and after trying for forever, got a quick shot of "something" and said boy. my 2nd u/s was done by a perinatologist (due to my quad screen results) and she said that female and male sex organs begin looking the same. the males cont to grow while the females shrink. makes sense i guess! either way, i hope the 5 wks fly by for you! it's so exciting!

Great news AM!!! I really don't know what to think about the boy/girl thing???? I can tell you that having 2 little boys is way more fun than I ever thought possible (I love buying them dorky matching outfits & jammies!)
BTW- I see your OCD is still going strong....LP's NT was 1.5?????? you are too funny girl!
