Love the name Allison

My too and I have since I was younger. Mom said I always told her someday I was going to have a baby and name her Allison Michelle (my middle name is Michelle). I don't remember this conversation but I do love the first name.

hhhmm... Michael & Michelle? hehe... i like Michelle too, but then we will have to change our boy's name...

AM- I love the name Connor of course and Landon, Riley, Corbin, Joshua, and Logan. I keep a list! You never know!

Robin- I love the names Mia, Katherine, Laney, Tara (can't use this name b/c husbands ex fiance but still like the name ).

Before we had our boy we had the names Michael Connor and Mia Katherine picked out. Had them for about 7 years before we got to use one. Now if we are ever blessed with a girl we will have a name now if we have a boy we will have a decision to make.

That is TOO funny!! I thought I was the only one who did that. When dh and I thought of our boys names, I had to keep saying them and imagining them if some was saying it over a loud speaker...like at graduation.

We also had to consider the initials. If we would have had a girl I wanted to name her Alison Sophia...our last name starts with an S. So put the them all together and you get A&&. But my dh brought that to my attention and we had to rearrange the names around...but I had boys so that wasn't an issue with the boys names we chose!

Robin, if you are set to use Michael then Michelle probably wouldn't be the best, too close. But you could call her Shelly. My SIL is Michelle and that's what we call her now, when we were younger (I've known my DH since I was 5) we called her Mickey but that's too close to Mikey.

AM, that site didn't help me either. The best I can do without last names is to give you the list of names that we have and have had for about 6 years now!

Boys:

Isaiah Allen (Allen is my dad's name and Dh's step father's last name)

Jacob Reed (Reed is my mom's maiden name and my dad and brother's middle names)

We need serious help in the girl department, for us we have these names but don't really LOVE any of them except Hannah Grace. Well my cousin is pregnant now and if she's having a girl her name will be Grace Elizabeth. Wouldn't be a big deal except that my mom is in love with the name Grace and if Grace is our girls middle name she will always call her Gracie, which is what my cousin plans on calling her daughter.....oh goodness! Too many what if type situations to deal with when picking names.

There is a website I have to find and post. You type in a name you like and it brings up 6 others that are similar (how I don't know) and then from there you choose a favorite and more come up.

All personal email is blocked at work so I have to try to navigate the system somehow to get to it. Will be back...
