Hello Ladies! I am loving all the name debates. This is so exciting.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have to tell you about the insane conversation I had last night. So, I flew to Dublin last night (the important part of this story is WEDNESDAY night) After boarding, I set up cart to go through First class to offer newspapers. I hate doing this and I am so tired and just want to get there already.

Me: Sir, would you care for a newspaper?

2B: What do you have?

Me: I have USA Today, wallstreet, Financial Times, New York Times, The Irish Times (etc..even though he can clearly see what I have)

2B: I am sorry, I meant..What date do you have? Are they wednesday's papers?

Me: (long pause so I can try and remember what day it is, look and confirm with paper...) Yes, we have today's papers.

2B: Do you have Thursday's?

me: what?

2b: I have read Wednesday's USA Today, I am looking for Thursday's.

me: Today is Wednesday Sir.

2B: (in annoyed, mean voice) So, you do not have Thursday's???

me: No, but if you find one, can I borrow it? I would like to look up today's lotto numbers. (so I never have to have another conversation like this one)

2B: (looks at me like I am an idiot)

me: (back in galley....Is today Wednesday?? He had me so confused)

So, this is why I should have called out sick. Though after my BFN-induced mood, I was pretty proud of myself for not hitting him with WEDNESDAY's Paper!! Sorry for the novel, I am sitting in my hotel room still laughing.

I'm assuming she's referring to BP.

Amy, what a funny story. How are you supposed to have the next day's paper when they aren't even printed yet!

AmyK - i hear your frustration, but since it was an international flight that flew overnight, thus landing in Dublin on Thursday, he might have thought you would have Thursday's paper...
