So Robin, you think Irina is having a little girl? What gives you that impression this early? How neat. I love hearing stories of mother's intuition.

AM, sorry to hear that LP is teething. I have heard horror stories on this subject many times over and am definitely not looking forward to it myself. But I know it has to happen, just like shots. So I keep telling myself it'll be pain with a purpose. This became my motto later in pregnancy as I prepared for labor, only downfall there is that I didn't get into active labor so I felt no pain. Drats!

LMAO......You've never watched Forensic Files?? The featured maybe 2 stories on them in 10 years lol. The title is much "fancier" than the actual responsibilities. I worked for a company hired by the District 13 Bankruptcy courts to go audit company books to see if money if being transferred in an effort to qualify for Bankruptcy (like selling brother Bob your million dollar company for $1...seriously we did see this) or the real value behind numbers (some companies would have seperate sets of books depending on who would be looking through them) or trying to find hidden/laundered money. If I report showed anything fishy the courts would deny the petition for Bankruptcy and in sever cases the owners can be jailed for fraud.

Agenda today.......going for a second interview with a company I interviewed with yesterday.

Different bdays....My ex FIL was born in DR on 08/09 but by the time his mom got to the hospital it was 08/12 so that is his bday on his birth certificate...funny enough my due date with mandy was 08/09 but she was born 08/12.

Cat...congrats on the newest addition to your family!!

AM & Rob&Irina....how cool the two (three) of you can share this pregnancy together...have you started a Jan 2009 Due date buddies thread?

I loved it for that reason....not a job that too many other people knew about or could do. I was a contractor for the District 13 Bankruptcy courts. If I could devote those long hours again I would but I would feel too guilty leaving the kids so I am only applying to staff accountant jobs. The pay was GREAT though :-)

Music Together today at 11, followed by lunch with the group. What's on the agenda, people?

C had this bad and we used, ummm, can't remember now (drinking again already) but it was Rx and it is the BOMB (locaid maybe, probably not spelled right but sounds like that), and it totally cleared her up. I'll see if I can find the tube in her room when she wakes up but it really works. Ask for a sample though as we had a bunch of samples then Dr. M wrote an Rx for it and even w/ the co-pay it was $40, samples again for me.
We have been to the office, been to the grocery store (sadly not the Teeter but I'm taking a cooler to NC w/ me this weekend) and then, and THEN, we are finally going to indulge in the pool across the street after naptime. Cannot wait; got her a sit-in floatie thing and she's got her swim shirt and diaper (from Target btw and they are cute and UV whatever), her chemical free sunscreen, her new baby Tevas and by the time we get it all together, it will probably be naptime again but the thought is great. Beautiful here today!
January 29th, how can we wait that long? I'm today isn't Thursday, January is like forever away.

DH was like this in my pregnancy too. He's the last Edens boy in his family and so the pressure was on. He really felt like it was a boy from the beginning, including my earlier pregnancy that year, so he's theory was by sticking to his gut feeling he'd be right....and he was. I understand when you say little since AC was big. I'm there too. Ethan was 8 lbs 7.5 oz and my doctor said he was too big for me....I didn't think I was small - go figure. But with a scheduled c-section maybe the earlier week next time not to mention knowing I'll have to watch for GD again hopefully the second baby will be a bit more on the "normal size" scale.

Jessica: that is such a cool job and you can always go back to it when kids are older and you know this one recession proof job as the companies ain't going to stop cheating anytime soon. I did a lot of valuation when I was practicing and that stuff is way cool as well but finding the crooks, that's killer. One of my old students is currently working on what is suppose to be the biggest divorce in these parts (of course can't/won't say names) doing exactly this as the husband has moved stuff every which way from Sunday and she LOVES it. You know it was the accountant who finally put Al Capone away, that's what I tell people to make myself sound cool.

LMAO..ROTFL....I never would have thought to say that but if you don't mind I'll "borrow" it sometime. You right and I thought about that too (being recession proof and when the kids get older) so that may be an option. I think it's cool to know someone as excited about this type of job too and I am sooooo jealous of your student...she must be having a great time with this divorce....has the hubby even moved stuff off shore...I love finding those "tax shelters" lol.
