Thanks Jen! Your little man looks so mature already just chilling on the sofa. I'm always spying over here. So many cute babies. And, I still can't believe all the twin sets!

We had lots of multiples in the March group. Triplets and twins!

Ethan does look a little too mature for his age. I just can't get him to slow down. I've been trying for months now!

Jen - cute pics of Ethan. He is a big boy!! I think my Karson is right behind him. My sister had big babies too, and people have always thought her kiddos were older than they are because of their size. Therefore, they expect them to act older.

Laurie - I am so glad that the night went well with your parents and the girls. I am sorry about the drama with your MIL. I was shocked to just read what she had done, so I can understand why you were upset. I am sorry if this changes your plans, but if you still feel like maybe you should not go then I would just trust your instinct. Maybe a little farther down the road you can try again.

Laci, Karson is right behind Ethan. You gave his stats last week and at almost a month younger he measures very close to Ethan. Might even pass him up - only time will tell. My nephew is big too, he's taller and stronger then our cousin's 2 year old. So you'd think they are similar in age, not even close!

Jen - I am a little sad that Karson is already so big because it went so fast. Last week I put on his Halloween outfit and Christmas outfit to take pictures because they are not going to fit at those times. I bought them months before he arrived, and could not wait for him to wear them. In any event, I am just so thankful that we have been blessed with healthy boys.

I know what you mean. I should have done that with Ethan too. A friend of ours is due with her first son, third child, in September....so I gave her almost all of Ethan's clothes. Mainly because they were out of season and too small. But I marked them as his so when her son is done with them I can have them back. I'd say probably 1/4 of those clothes he never even got a chance to wear because the 3-6 month stuff was all long sleeved, long pants and thick material. I just put together his photo book last week, finally, and was crying at how much he's changed in such a short amount of time. I don't even remember him being that small now. But at the same time I love the phase he's in now and couldn't ask for a better boy!

Hey girls...finally I am taking time to post pics.

Here are pics of Maddie that I took recently. I also had to show a pic of two of our pets and how they sleep together at night.

I'm sorry I haven't had much time to post lately. I'll try and catch up later. I'll post some pics of Mila next.

Sorry I don't have much time to post as many of Mila. I'm such a bad mom. Oh, and speaking of halloween costumes. We took these of Mila modeling their halloween costumes that we just bought for them yesterday. Maddie was sleeping, so Mila was the guinea pig. I really didn't think DH put me in the pic for one of them and we didn't take any others, so you'll have to deal with my ugly mug for one pic.

Oops, sorry Laurie - Happy Late birthday. I don't know how I let that slip, I had it written down and everything.

Anna, the girls are gorgeous. I posted on the other thread that I love their Halloween costumes and Ethan needs one of those "teething bites" bibs!

Girls, for the third night in a row Ethan has been pigging out. He eats his oatmeal, his carrots and a fruit - followed within the hour by a 6 ounce bottle. Do you think it's a growth spurt? If he keeps this up he's going to be teaming up with daddy to eat us out of house and home!

Thanks Jen- I had a massage yesterday afternoon and DH dropped the babies off at my parents and met me and we went out to eat Italian. It was so yummy! I can't believe I am 29! I don't know what to say about the food. THe girls are both eating a half a jar in the afternoons of just whatever and then rice cereal with their last bottle at night. Presley is still not thrilled with it but Avery loves it. I think she would keep eating but you know I read in all the books about them still not being old enough at this point to always let you know when they are full so I just worry about overfeeding them.

Rachael - The picture of Aiden is great! I looked at the Jan. thread and saw the others and they were great too! I am glad to hear that Cooper is doing well.

Jen - What did you end up doing with your animals?

Anna - I LOVE the pictures of the girls. We have that same swing! Don't they look so big in it?? I love that it swings 2 ways. The girls love swinging side to side.

Laci - The drama with the in-laws is not the norm and I know she didn't mean anything by it. She obviously just didn't think it through. They just aren't very involved in our lives and it's kinda sad but it's their loss.

Nala-It's so good to hear from you! We need to see some pics of those precious babies.

I know I have said this before but I wonder how Kelly is doing....I wish she would post every once in a while.

Well we have decided not to go this weekend. I am okay with it but we just decided against it. We are going to the beach already on Sept. 3rd with both sets of parents, and DH told me that his friend wasn't the best housekeeper and had a couple of roomates so it sounds like we could be walking into a big bachelor pad. I just told DH I didn't want to go down there and be dissapointed the first time I leave my kids. I am fine with it. I think DH was a little dissapointed but I assured him we would have our time when we go in September. I told him I didn't care if we stayed out every night till after midnight.

Laurie, I was concerned about the same thing but Ethan can and does tell me when he's full - mouth shut, hands in front of his face and he turns his head. That's it I'm done he says! I ended up calling his pediatrician this morning since it's been three nights in a row and she says he's fine. He's probably going through another growth spurt. She even said that if he's less interested in the formula bottles in the evening that's ok because he's getting what he needs in the increased food he's consuming. I still don't know though. It just seems like a lot to me.

As for the animals, we gave all three to new homes only to get one back. One of our dogs in the new environment was being overly aggressive with our oldest dog. New area, new domain and he was trying to prove himself the dominate one. There were six instances in that first week of him having the other dog down in a choke hold and not letting him up to breathe until the adults stepped in. She didn't feel she could trust him around the young kids. I understood but having had him longer I can say he's not that way with children or humans in general. So DH said he'd pick him up and we'd see about finding a new home for him. However, once he got home he said he couldn't say goodbye again. So he's on a trail period with us and since he is the lazier of the two, eats less, doesn't require a lot of attention, etc we'll just see how things go.

Laurie, sorry I missed your b-day. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself though! The only italian we get these days is Olive Garden...which we love! But, since we get nervous with the girls, we just take them during the lunch hour. We know if they make a scene that we won't get too many mean glances. I'm so jealous of your massage! That must have been nice. Oh...our girls love that swing. Mila has a tradition that before she goes to bed at night she needs to be in her swing and talk to the fishes. She will have a conversation with them for about 10-15 minutes before she goes to bed for the night. Maddie just started talking to them now too. Its just too cute.

Laci, I can't believe what a big boy you have! The boys on this thread are too big for their britches...he he.

Jen, that bib is one of our favorites for Mila. It definitely describes her temper lately. I'm glad you like the costumes. The bunny costume is way cuter in person. DH didn't do it justice when taking the pic. Its my favorite out of the two. I don't know if you girls have seen the movie "The Wild" and the koala is adorable. Since the costumes are so cuddly, I keep thinking of that movie. He always says, "So cute and cuddly! I like you!" I always have to say that to the girls when they are so adorable. Anyways, I can't believe how much Ethan is eating! My girls don't want to eat that much when their teething bothers them. I wish they ate like Ethan. Oh, and I can't believe you got rid of the animals. That must have been hard. I know having our animals has been rough. But, ours haven't started fighting or acting out. I would have done the same thing if ours acted out.

So, weekend plans:

Tomorrow we're going to our zoo ala carte. Once a year, the zoo has different restaurants come in and its just an excuse to go pig out. They have about 30 different local restaurants come in. We plan on starting the piggy fest around 9 a.m. since I hate fighting the crowds. Then, Sunday my dad has his 65th b-day celebration. There will be 9 kids under the age of 5 there! It will be complete chaos. Everyone enjoy their weekend!

Anna, the animals didn't fight here...well often anyway. They were well behaved, I just couldn't keep up with them. DH does little to help me with them and it's more of a nagging fight when I have to ask him to step up. Our oldest dog Raven wanted NOTHING to do with Ethan which scared us. He never acted out but I didn't want him to have the opportunity to either. The cat kept getting into his crib and he's a long haired persian mix so that wasn't safe either. Because our youngest dog has separation issues we felt so blessed to find someone who would take them both. But since that didn't work out we have him back. So we went from a family of six to four.

I am sorry I don't get to post much. This summer has been very busy. Now we are getting ready for school to start.

Laci - I know what you mean about the clothes. I just went through Maddie's and some of the outfits she may have worn one time.

Jen - That is sad about the furbabies, but totally understandable. My oldest takes care of ours...if it weren't for him....

Anna - Those babies are gorgeous!!!! Where did you get those costumes? Did you ever see the specialist about their developement? They look great to me...smiling and holding toys.

Laurie - I am sorry you didn't get to go. It wouldn't have been much fun anyway if you were worrying about the babes the whole time. And Happy Belated B-day. 29 is not bad...I wasn't real thrilled with my 33rd birthday this year .

Maddie had her "4 month" appt. yesterday. She said Maddie should be eating 3 meals a day and having 4 oz of juice a day. I was surprised. I have read alot on-line and some even say no solids until 6 months. I have been doing cereal at night and had given her green beans 2 times at around lunch time. So went and bought some more stuff to make our own. She said she is definately teething. My mom sent me a Bumbo yesterday. We are in love with it. I wasn't going to get one, it is kinda pricey with everything else we have bought for her and we aren't going to be able to use any of it again. I was soooo happy to see it in the mail.

Well Maddie is being fussy and I typed this all one handed. So I am going to try to get her down for a nap.
