Chrissy, sounds like our boys are about the same size. When Ethan went in for his 2 month check up he was 13 lbs 1 oz and 25 inches long. I love all of Alexander's hair! What a cutie. So glad his reflux is getting better, that is very helpful. What issues are you currently having with his sleeping?
Anna, I don't know about teething. We are kind of broaching the same topic because E is really starting to drool. I keep thinking, surely not - isn't it too early?! But then again I know that sometimes it can take weeks before the tooth actually shows up. I guess it's something to watch for. Ethan has found his hands as well, especially when he's hungry. We aren't going in for a three month weight check, at least it wasn't offered to us. I believe unless we have something come up in between we are going at 4,6,8,10,12 months for shots. Well busy day at work today ladies, I might be scarce but I will check back in, I promise!

Chrissy, its great to hear from you. I'd love to see updated pics of your little man. He's a big boy like Ethan! Wow! I'm glad the reflux is getting better. How is he sleeping at night?
Jen, I think we had more weight checks since they were preemies. Its kind of nice to hear where they are at from where they started, but its just a pain to get them all ready and take them out to the doctors just for their weight. It is just too much work with two. Evita, thanks! We had so much fun with the photographer. I just can't wait to they start smiling and responding while they are getting their pictures taken. The outfits they have on were their baptismal gowns. I think we'll be going back in another month or two. The pictures of them are just so addicting. I don't think I'll ever have enough of them. How is Eva doing? Any fun plans for the weekend?

Laurie, I love the pics! Your girls are just so cute! I love their matching dresses. Do you know we have the exact same car seats. We also have the double stroller to match. Everyone aways comments how much they love the pattern. How is the 6 hour feeding schedule going? Did it work out?

Jen, I hope you're okay after that horrible storm. I know we have flooding here and I heard it hit hard in IN as well. That is where you're from right? The girls are loving the storms though. They are sleeping so great with the sound of the rain and thunder.
Wish me luck, I have that other interview at the hospital tomorrow. I also have another interview with a different company on Wednesday. I'm running out of time! Someone hire me!

OK! They're interested in me for the hospital position! Now, they just need to check my references. Let's hope they can get a hold of them. I have another two interviews tomorrow. I'm getting kind of excited for returning to work. I just hope its a smooth transition.
How are all the March mommies? I haven't heard from you guys in awhile! How are the babes doing?

Anna, Ethan also loves the storms. We went out to the camper Friday and he just sat with my parents staring at the sky as it got darker and darker. He also loves the feel of a nice cool breeze, he's always so hot. We have some flooding but it's not near as bad as some of the surrounding areas....but it might end up that way if this rain doesn't stop soon. Saturday was the worst day, rainfall wise, thus far.
Congratulations on the hospital position. I know you were really hoping to get it and it sounds like you will. I too hope the transition goes well for you. That honestly is the hardest part. I think more for us then for the babies. Ethan could have seemingly cared less, he was still being held, cuddled and loved on - as well as fed and changed of course - so he was one happy kiddo. In fact he seems to know where he is going each morning. We simply say "time to go to your Ju-Ju's (her name is Judy)" and he just smiles with the biggest smile of the morning. Ethan has a head cold. He woke up in a big coughing fit yesterday morning around 4:15. He didn't really stop coughing until I took him off his back and put him on my chest. Plus he took 3 ounces of his normal 6 ounce nighttime bottle and passed out at 6:30 p.m. This is so not like Ethan. Not only that he went to bed early and on half a bottle but he slept until 5:15 this morning. Doctor said it'll clear on it's own. We did find today though that Ethan (just a week shy of 3 months) is now weighing in at.......are you ready for this.....14 lbs 6 oz. That's a full pound and five ounces from three weeks ago! He's definitely a growing boy, guess I shouldn't be concerned about how much he's taking per feeding. He's getting five bottles a day now, two of which are normally six ounces.

I'm sorry Ethan isn't feeling well. I hope he gets better soon. Poor thing...it's never fun to see them go through that. His weight is really up there! Wow! Such a big boy! He really is eating well.
We had our weight check today...Maddie is 8 lbs 12 oz and Mila is exactly 11 lbs. Mila just keeps getting bigger and bigger than her sister. Maddie is just such a fussy eater. I try and get her to eat more and she just starts screaming her head off. She still only takes about 3 oz and very rarely she'll take a full 4 oz. The girls were so cute yesterday. I put both of them in the same bouncy together and they were having a ball. Then, they fell asleep like that. Once they woke up, Maddie rolled over a little and started hugging on her sister and snuggling up to her. It was so precious!

Did you get pictures of the girls together like that? How adorable do they sound?! Ethan is feeling much better today. Thank goodness. We took him over to Dh's aunt's house last night and he was just the star of the show until his cousin Eva came over (Dh's aunt's granddaughter). However, they did take some cute pictures of the two side by side and head to head with their bodies going in opposite directions. It'll probably be a year before she emails them to me but they were definitely cute! Look at the size difference between the girls. Poor Maddie, will she ever bridge the gap Mila keeps putting between them?!

Hey girls - Hope everyone is doing well. I have been busy over here. I am hoping to work on finding us a vacation spot this afternoon. We are going to wait until the week of Labor Day or the week after so that the girls will be bigger and hopefully be able to enjoy it more.
Anna- That sounds great about the job. Hopefully it won't take them long to check your references and you will know something soon. I know what you mean about looking forward to work. I enjoy going in in the mornings for an outlet but by 12 when I get off I am so ready to see my girls. I don't know where the time goes. I couldn't imagine working all the way until 5 and then trying to come home and get dinner ready and do housework, baths, laundry, etc. It is so hard to get anything done with 2. Jen - That is crazy how much Ethan weighs! I just can't imagine. I feel like our girls have gotten so big but they are still pretty small. I need to weigh them again but I am sure they are both around 11+ pounds. Yesterday was our 3 month marker and I took more pictures. I am obsessed lately with getting pictures of them together smiling. The first one is Avery and the second one is Presley.
