The percentiles are not really "good" or bad"...it's just a way for your Dr. to see if your child is growing appropriately. If your child measures in the 75% for weight, that just means that he weighs more that 75% of children his age.

Kelli, quite a climber you have there! Andrei started walking by himself at 10 mo 3weeks. Now he climbs up the sofas, but thanks God he learned how to get down as well.But for a while I couldn' even turn my head and he was up. We have 5 gates as well around the house and a new fence in the middle of the backyard.

About percentiles, my boy has come down as well from the 80's in weight at 5 mo to 37% at 1 year old. And still he is not thin.The hight as well(from 90% to 58%). Since he started walking with help at 9 mo, he has not gained much at all, only 9 oz. We will go back in 6 weeks and check again but the PEd is not concerned and told me not to try to get him fat!

Yeah, once they get to walking they won't gain as quickly (atleast that is how all my nephews did).

thanks! he barely fit in that sink, but that was an emergency bath because he'd had a big accident. turned out he really liked it in there!
