That's so terribly scary. I'm pretty sure Emmaline had a febrile seizure as well. The only reason I'm not 100% sure is because she snapped out of it and smiled as soon as I said her name (ped said that saying her name wouldn't have made a difference if it was a seizure), but she did the whole arching back and eyes rolling back thing.
I hope you're able to figure this all out. It's so hard when our kids don't feel well. It's heartbreaking.

That is soo scary!!!! We were having problems with a fever with Caitlin not that long ago and we had gone out to eat and when we were walking out to the car she stretched out her limbs, tipped her head back, and was kindof grunting. It only lasted 5-10 seconds but it scared us. When we got to the er her temp was almost 104 (this was barely over 3 hours since getting motrin). They did all kinds of tests and it took forever but we found out she had a uti (in addition to the ear infection the nurse practitioner had told us she had that morning). They gave her iv antibiotics and mde sure she had enough fluids and then sent us home once her temp leveled out.
Keep an eye on him, if he gets worse or has another seizure (or is acting out of the ordinary) get him into the er, they can get him taken care of.

Today's diagnosis: Hand, foot, and mouth disease...virus causing, no treatment other than the symptoms, which is fever, sore throat etc. In other words, Tylenol and Motrin.
I would write more but just got off work and am beat! Blessings, Michelle
