Holy Heat Batman!

What is up with the east coast for all of us ladies sweating our a**es off!?! It's crazy! Thank God for central air and a swimming pool. Just opening the door to let the dog out takes my breath away.

Hope everyone is staying cool!

Amen to that. I thought to run out to get lunch and almost melted away. When I got back inside I said a prayer thanking God for shelter and central A/C.

amen again, we went swimming and I swear the pool was at a slow boil; helped but this insane. Have been putting off the grocery store all day under the (heat induced stupidity) assumption it might cool off but alas it is 5:00, 101, DH is one and we have no people or dog food. Uggg.
Added as a PS: and no wine, could maybe cook the dogs pasta and order a pizza but we going to the store for sure now.

Ha Ha!! Too funny about having to drag out to the grocery store for wine as a neccessity! Same story in this house except dh is a sommelier and there is always wine

It is hot as heck here too. We went to the pool but it's almost too hot for that too. What happened to our transition to summer?? I feel for the Northerners. I spent 6 years in Philly and the AC up there just isn't the same as down South. We have three AC units on our house down here!

Holy cow. It's hot here in FL. I'm only 10 weeks preggie and can't stand the heat!!!!!!! I just got back from the grocery store. I stood practically in the coolers to try to cool off and I was still hot! I'm sitting with a cold wash cloth on my head right now in the A/C-LOL!

It's been almost 100 all day today and finally down to 91 so hubby braved it and went to the grocery store. We had no choice, tomorrow is Tristan's party so we need soda, chips, and plastic stuff. I have had the ac on all day along with the ceiling fans. Tomorrow is gonna be 98 so should anyone act up at the party they are getting time out on the front lawn

I forgot about about the race...I'm like the biggest horse person ever and ******, but I want a sommilier (probably didn't even spell it right) husband...or maybe that would be bad, I really would start drinking during the day. DH has been out of town since last MONDAY so I've treated myself to something other than the two buck chuck and I have to say as wine lover, I don't miss him as much!

Ah Meg!! It's definitely a dangerous occupation We've got over 500 bottles here at home. Just wait till Aiden starts crawling and we have to baby proof! DH keeps threatening that he's going to excavated the basement to make a mini-cellar. Maybe I should buy him a shovel for Father's day??

Come on over anytime! We love to share! I definitely wouldn't miss dh as much if he only let me drink two buck chuck!

He could care less about wine so I only have the two buck when he might actually dip in as he wouldn't appreciate any better but w/ him gone, well, that's another story. I could not live in a house w/ 500 bottles of wine, no way, no how. How fabulous and yes, I think a shovel is the perfect gift!

I hear ya Meg! The only hard part about being in this house was being pregnant for 9 months and staring at all that good wine. Definitely been making up for lost time! Now, I just have to convince dh to start collecting more whites for the summer. I need something cold with this heat!!
