Hey everyone. I am new to the forum. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago and just recently as of May, started a new treatment program. I am currently on 850mg of Glucophage twice daily, prenatal vitamins, folic acid, and on most occasions I have to take Provera to induce my cycle. I haven't had a cycle on my on in years. Provera seems to do the trick. I just finished up my first round of Clomid last week. I took it days 5-9 of my cycle. My thing is....here in the last week I have been experiencing some side effects I am assuming from the Clomid and was wondering if anyone else experienced any major side effects or other side effects that are similar to pregnancy side effects? Also, I am open to any other ideas that would help stimulate ovulation. Thank you in advance for any help or advice offered

Hello and welcome.

I did not have any real side effects but lots of other women do. If you do a search you will find several threads on the subject.

Are you doing a timed BD or IUI cycle?

I would suggest OPK’s every day or so starting around day 10 if you are not being monitored by your DR.

I had some side effects while on Clomid. I had major hot flashes and mood swings. I don't think I had pregnancy like symptoms though.
