I have been taking it for 2 months now, have the same side effects as you.For some ,they go away after a couple of weeks, but i do have them still,i stopped taking them after my IUI,will be back on them,if i get a BFP/BFN this cycle.
There's also Metformin(Extended release),i heard they dont have as many side effects as Metformin(regular),but my RE presribed Metformin(regular),and asked me to take fluids, preferred more water though. Hope this helps.

If you're getting shaky, it sounds like your blood sugar is indeed dropping. It's completely possible on the metformin.. it happens to me occassionally. I would definitely talk to your doctor about it.. you might be on too high a dosage if this is happening often. At least that how it seems to me, since metformin helps the insulin your body makes to be more effective in processing your blood sugar. I don't know about the fatigue and nausea.. those were never side effects for me.

I had those same symptoms when I first started the metroformin. I had to work my way up to taking 3 pills a day. The first week I took one pill and then the next 1/2 and so on and so on. I am taking the medicine along with excercise and doing the southbeach diet.
Good luck ![]()
