Hi, My name is Misty, I'm 23 and I just wanted to tell you guys a little bit about myself.

Never got my period on my own, when to the OB when I was 17, and was DX with PCOS, and put on BC to start.

And start, I did.

Was married in Jan. 2005. Went off BC and decided "Hey if I get pregnant, oh well."

Periods became irregular after I stopped the BC, but I didn't see a doctor.

Husband Left for Iraq November 2005.

Periods stopped Dec 2005

I thought it was strange that I hadn't become pregnant between Jan-Nov off BC, but I brushed it off, and just went to the doc for more BC.

Periods started again.

He came home OCT 2006, and we actually started trying.

Periods stopped again a few months later.

He left again OCT 2007.

Made appt. with RE March 2008, and came to grips that something was wrong.

Went in, in May 2008

He told me I have serious PCOS, and will most likelly need high doses of injectables with Clomid.

Blood work done; High Testosterone, Blood sugar normal. MRI of gland (I forget which one) came back normal.

Gave me prometrium to jump start my period, and we decided we would try clomid and try to "catch it" when my husband came home on R&R.

Of course my husband's R&R got pushed up and we couldn't do it.

He came home in early June, and by now my Period still hadn't come.

But the day he left to go back to Iraq she came to visit.

Karma much huh? LOL

Well couple weeks later I bought a PT out of habit; "Just B/C" and ended up getting a evaporation line, that I thought was a faint +.

But it won't, went to doc, beta came back negative.

But still no period.

I just took my last prometrium today, and hopefully my period will start soon. My RE gave me BC to stay on until my husband comes home. That way I keep a period.

Husband comes home in Jan, and that's when we're starting our "Actual" getting pregnant journey.

Lord help us. LOL
