Help Please!!!

I just found out that I am pregnant. I got pregnant while taking metformin naturally. My beta was 36 and the dr. said I am about 4 weeks pregnant. I am freaking out because at first the nurse told me that the numbers should be between 50-100 at this stage. Then she called me back and said that the doctor said that my numbers are okay since I got pregnant on a natural cycle. In other words, since they don't know for sure when I actually got pregnant it might be early so 36 could be an okay number. I have a feeling the dr. is just trying to calm me down. He told me to come back for another beta on Friday (in hopes that the numbers will double). Do you think this could be a viable pregnancy???? Please be honest...
