I am so sorry
Look I have had a similar situation, but in my case I was having a cycle every month. I had the cyst removed in 2002 and I had been fine, but never pregnant. I started of with glucophage , diet and exercise. I lost weight about almost 50 pounds and I started on natural herbs for about 5 years hoping I would conceive naturally, but nothing. My hormone levels were normal and I just was desperate to have a baby. In January of 08 I started the evaluation for IVF but still taking all the natural herbs and the glucophage for the cyst . Then in april 2008 we started the pill 20 days later I did the lupron and then all the meds for IVF. I am now
with a little girl and I am so happy I stook to what would help me increase my chances and help me with the cyst and I am 7 months pregnant. Do not loose hope try what ever you can, If you need a list of what I was taking I will gladly tell you where you can get this stuff and how to take it its natural and can help with all those cyst. Let me know ok and god will bless you with a little one like me. |

Hi. I'm so sorry you feel lost right now. Did the specialist say why he/she thought your fiance's ovaries can't be found? I can't believe they couldn't give you some possible reasons. There are usually options and more testing that can be done. Is it possible to go to another specialist? Sometimes it makes it worse if you go on the internet for explanations as there could be many and it may scare you both. I would go with a list of questions to your specialist or a new one did you see a reproductive endocrinologist?) re. reasons and options for help. Best of luck to you both.

I am in a similar situation.
I have my period about once a year so I know how frustrating it can be. I would definately get a second opinion in regards to not being able to see the ovaries. I know my health insurance covers second opinions...hopefully yours does as well. I wish I had more answers for you but I am just now starting the process of medical intervention. Good Luck with everything! Keep us posted!

It is great to hear that you are being so supportive in a time like this. PCOS, while troublesome can definitiely be overcome by medication. Make sure that your fiance is seeing a RE she feels comfortable with. Different RE's (reproductive endocrinologist) see and treat things differently and they are much more likely to have extensive experience with any problem that she may have. Good luck and both of you guys can come and talk to us anytime!!
