Help

I am deeply concerned about my wife and her well being. She is 38 and has 18 nieces and nephews with a very close relationship among them all. My wife is the only one of 5 without child. This is all she ever wants out of life is to raise a child or children. We have under gone four failed attempts at artificial insemination with three miscarriages. She has a protein S deficiency and took lovenox and progesterone each time, per infertility specialist. We finally decided to schedule an invetro procedure with our specialist. just a couple Weeks before the procedure an inccident happend at our home with a 100 pound cabinet falling off the wall and onto her, due to negligiance of the builders. Not good when pron to blood clogging with Protein S deficiancy. Our infertility specialist said he would not move forward until a hemotologist gave the thumbs up. Here it is Christmas and our infertility Doctor is too busy with vacation to speak to us about the, what we hope to be, good news, "WE ARE PREGNANT" this is something we never ever thought possible. With her protien S deficiency and possible blood clot due to the cabinet falling on her, should she do the Lovenox and progesterone immediately for the pregnancy due to the protien S. Our specialist wouldn't talk to her on the phone to give her the advice she was looking for. She would now be 6 weeks along per calculator, and no doctors available. I am deeply concerned about my wifes safety and the life of our new miracle child. Has anyone been through this or perhaps know if my wife should do the progesterone and the Lovenox before seeing the doctor in two weeks. That time frame could cause yet another misscarriage and possible deep depression for her.

If you can’t get an answer from your DR go to the emergency room!
