Hi Everyone!
My name is Chelsea and I am a graduate student at Central Michigan University. Part of my research is looking at how physicians communicate with their patients. Being that I was diagnosed with PCOS over seven years ago, it is a disorder that is near and dear to my heart. I am interested in getting feedback on other people's experience with communicating with physicians about weight struggles in dealing with PCOS. As we all know, PCOS has dramatic impacts on our lives, yet little research has been done on how it impacts our everyday interactions. I hope you all agree with me that this is research that needs to be done.
I am looking for individuals who are interested in helping me out with this. If anyone is interesting in helping further PCOS research, please let me know. I have a survey for you to fill out that will only take a few minutes of your time. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. The surveys do not ask you to disclose intimidate details of your diagnosis, but is simply looking at the interactions you have experiences with your doctor.
If you are interested, please contact me at
berge3cm@cmich.edu. I will distribute the surveys through email, and you can return them at your earliest convenience. Thank you all for your time!
