What is the difference with PCO and PCOS?

Just wondering if anyone can shed a light on this for me? i was diagnosed with PCO but my hormone levels are normal...does anyone else here have this same thing and if you do have you become pregnant on IVF or any other fertility treatments?

I have just recently been diagnosed with PCOS which is the same as PCO. All of my labs were normal, however I did have the "string of pearls" cyst on ultrasound and my appearance fits the description of a person with PCOS. So, my doctor put me on Glucophage twice a day. This has all come about after 2 unsuccessful IUI's and 1 unsuccessful IVF. My RE never diagnosed me with PCOS...maybe because my labs have always been perfect. This doctor is pretty confident that with dieting, exercise and the glucophage...I may be able to conceive. Hope this helps you

I have completely normal hormone lvls and my insulin lvls are fine but have ovulation difficulties and the "string of pearls" were present w/me also. So PCO it is. Not sure if it's medically accurate but I've read up on PCOS and I don't fit that bill, as I have absolutely none of the symptoms.

Although I have ovulated every time (about half with multiple follies) since I have been seeing my RE, I have yet to get a bfp.
