Heart ? for ladies with PCOS and has had a child

I have PCOS and have gone through several IUI's to have my son. Before I had him I never had a period without taking some medication to induce one. 61/2 weeks after having him i got my period all on my own, so my question is.....has anyone with PCOS had a child with help then go on to get pregnant naturally after that?? Did having my son get everything on track and will i start having periods on my own or was this just a one time thing?? Any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

I have PCOS also. I haven't had a period since having my daughter but my doctor told me not to be shocked if from here on out I don't have trouble getting pregnant. A good friend of mine had her twins through IVF (she also has PCOS) and since then has had extremely regular cycles & ovulates on her own. those 2 things she never did before.

I'm hoping things will be more regular since having my daughter....we will see!

Good luck to you & congrats on your little one!

A friend of mine was the same. Getting pregnant with her first helped regulate her cycles and she was able to get pregnant several more times and had 3 children after that, as well as some miscarriages.

Me....I felt like I was noticing some regularity with symptoms and timing, but my period would never come...just extremely light spotting. So I'm not sure.
