Addition of glucophage?
Has adding glucophage helped any of you ladies? Last cycle (my first TTC) I didn't stim. We've added glucophage and increased my Femara. My follie scan is on Friday and I'm nervous that I won't stim again. Does anyone have experience with pre and post glucophage stimming?

Heather (32) divorced - PCO M/C (natural)- 2005  DD (natural) - July 2007  DIUI long cycles due to cysts.  Rare9/26/11 CD1 9/28/11 Femara 5mg x 5D Failed Add Glucophage 10/30/11 CD111/1/11 7.5mg Femara x 5D 11/11/11 R 20mm 11/14/11 HCG at 9am. IUI at 4:30 SA= pre wash 58 mil 35% mot. Post thaw 32 mil 47% mot. 11/30/11  12/1/11 CD1 Femara 7.5 Failed Jan and Feb vacation March skipped doc out of town 4/19/12 CD3 failed Bravelle cycle.  BCP 5/23/12 CD1 Femara, Follistim 150, Estrogen, Menopur, & trigger 3 mature follies 6/21/12 CD1 patch, Femara 5mg x5d CD7 no lead lining=5mm follistim 175 CD9 3-10mm follies. Lining=7.2 CD12 14, 12, many @10. Lining=8.6 E2=352 CD13 15, 2@13, 12, 11, 10 lining=9.6 E2=600+ CD14 Menopur CD15 17, 16, 15 many smaller E2=670 trigger 10pm CD17 iui 11am. lead follie 24mm. 2 other leads and many of smaller ones. DS 117 mil 73% mot 0.3ml post wash

I don't know if my stimulations improved after beginning glucophage (Metformin) because at the same time I switched from Letrozole to Gonal F so they were two very different meds. One thing I did notice is that I stopped getting false positives on my ovluation predictor kits. This was great news to me because it means that my problem with high LH looks like it's been corrected. Having high LH is common with PCOS and I had it while stimming on Letrozole. You'd think I'd have the same thing while stimming on Gonal F but I didn't, and I think it was because I had been put on the Metformin.

Me - 28; PCOS DH - 29; Normal except borderline low motility TTC #1 since 9/2010 2/19/11 HPT  natural; Chem pregnancy at 5 wks7/19/11 Trying Letrozole first time 2.5 CD 3 -7 CD 12 & CD 16 U/S shows numerous follies sized 8 - 11mm,OPK gave false Positive and had IUI on CD 21. No ovulation 8/26 Letrozole Step Follicle 30+ mm on CD 15 with HCG Shot but IUI cancelled due to low estrogen (85 at time of trigger) & thin endometrium 9/14/11 Begin Metformin 1000mg 9/21/11 Started Gonal F 37.5mg day 3, 112.5 cd 4, 5, 6, then 37.5mg again cd 7,8 Cycle cancelled on cd 9 overstim with 8 follies, Estadiol 512 BCP 11/4/11 Start Gonal F 37.5 alternating with 75u 2-3 mature follicles; IUI with 19 mil motile sperm
