Successes with Chlomid???
I'm thinking of starting on this, but seems like the statistics are so very, very low for success....has anyone actually conceived 'naturally' after going through the chlomid cycles? I am super nervous.

My sister in Law got pregnant with twins on her first try with clomid. They were monitored by their doctor so she knew it was working.

I got pg on my 2nd Clomid cycle (100 mg) but m/c for the 2nd time. I am sure the m/c had nothing to do with clomid, so I guess you could say it "worked", but no baby
Good luck to you and let us know what happens with you. |

HI,
I've been on clomid for 3 months with no success. I do know 2 sets of couples that have had twins with clomid. It can work! Good Luck! Candy |

I was successful
Although it has been a while since you posted the question, I thought I would reply anyway.
I have insulin-resistant PCOS, and I was NOT on metformin but opted for Clomid instead to induce ovulation. I was successful the first round of Clomid. However, I miscarried around 8 weeks. I've been reading a lot in the rate of miscarriage for PCOS women, which is astonishingly high . . . although the use of Metformin had been linked to help reduce the risk of miscarriage significantly, especially when used until the 13th week or longer. So, now I am going on Metformin AND I'll be doing the clomid when we TTC again. |
