Am I crazy or what?

Ok here's by brief history.......... Went of BC April 01 and learned that I have PCOS. Started treatment a few months later Clomid and IUI. Then started Follstim and IUI and BFN. Took time off. Switched fertility doctors got pregnant October of 02 with Clomid and IUI ended in miscarriage. Was pregnant on my own Dec 03 chemical pregnancy. Then we decided to adopt in July 0f 04 and came home with our son May 05. My problem is I KNOW my cycles are irregular and AF comes when she wants but I continue to take pregnancy tests for some odd reason if my cycle is late compared to the month before. Am I stupid for doing this?

Karenanne - I do not think that is crazy at all. When DH and I were first married I knew that I could not get PG because I did not ovulate but everytime I felt a little sick in the morning or anything I always took a HPT. It was just a way for me to feel 'normal' I guess or that we could do this on our own. The only harm that it caused was the heartache when it became at BFN. I hope this helps and that you get a BFP soon.
