Unhappy no menses after progesterone shot

My RE gave me a shot of progesterone on 09/05/06 and told me to call when I got my period, still haven't seen one. So yesterday her office calls me and tells me she wants to see me because I should have gotten my period already. Has anyone else experienced this? What could cause me not to start like this...could I possibly have yet another problem on top of the PCOS and anovulation??? I am extremely depressed today and my poor husband looks lost because he just can't fix me and make me better...

My doctors office has never given me a shot of progesterone. But I have had to take the oral medication for 7 days. and even had to go thru 2 wks of taking the meds before I had a cycle. Not sure why but had to... This was before I started to RE..
Then this time I had no cycle they called in my script then on only day 2 of meds I started...
Let us know what u find out..

Good Luck
