Wink Don't give up!!

Chrissy,

I too had tried for YEARS to have a child, went through the infertility routine with no luck. We finally decided to adopt. I now have a beautiful son. It is recommended that you try to lose some weight before trying to conceive and that might make you ovulate again. Also, there are new advances in PCOS, please check with an endocronologist as they would handle PCOS. Don't give up hope. Where one door closes, another one opens.

The best advice that I can give is seek a private adoption attorney versus going through an agency. We found in our situation, that agencies wanted a lot more money and tried to push international adoption on us and we didn't want that. If that is not an option try to adopt an older child through your local family services. Some people that we met in our classes adopted 5 children from the same family some were as young as 8 and I believe the oldest was 15. Let me know if I can help you out further on this.

pcos

Chrissy,
I would also suggest you try with your local family services. We just completed our foster classes and we talked to several people who said others were getting children and infants before they even received their licence in the mail. I also have more news that should help encourage you ( hopefully not discourage) I just found out I am pregnant again! I have slowly lost about 15 lbs. My weight is about 155 right now. I wish it was lower. But I am going to try really, really hard not to gain to much weight so that I do not have all the complications I had before. A friend of mine who also has pcos is now pg. She miscarried a year and half ago then used fertility drugs. She has also lost weight. She has worked very hard at losing the weight. I think she has lost about 65 lbs.
