This thread is so inspirational I just had to revive it

I have been through the IF journey since April 2005, and my husband and I have grown through leaps and bounds both in our marriage and as individuals. I consider this as part of our life's testimony, where we can help others understand and cope with IF also--we have certainly been there and have gone through so much to have a little one. And I am certain that we will.

This time around (my first IVF), I am adopting the Serenity prayer that one of the ladies introduced before. I have done everything humanly possible to help the process along toward a , and of course my DH and I are hoping for the best! Plus I really feel calm and confident about how things are going and will turn out.

So basically when the going gets tough keep a positive attitude, keep moving forward no matter what and trust in God. You have all of us here on Fertilitycommunity to help lift your spirits if you need a boost!

Here's to you!!!

I'm glad this thread is revived!

These are some Bible verses I hold dear and keep as promises:

Psalm 113:9
He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.

Psalm 128:6
and may you live to see your children's children.

hard

My name is kaya. I am going on 28 years old. I have gone through an ectopic pregnancy and have been on clomid for two years. the doctor finally took me off it because even though it was working, i wasn't getting pregnant. There are soo many times when i want to have a child so bad, its a battle i tell you. Everything else in my life is going great! Does anyone know if artificial insemination works and how well?

Kaya

For me I found that the most hurtful comments came unintentionally from friends. There is an awkward feeling that people seem to have to say something they think is right, but it all comes out wrong. In reality just a hug is good enough.

I agree, a hug or a "I'm thinking of you" works for me! I think it's hard for friend's to deal with my IF since it's ongoing after 4 years!

I saw this on another thread (I don't know who posted it, as I'd like to give them the credit)... but I thought it was fitting.

'Remember not everyone gets visited by a stork, some of us need a zoologist to bring the stork to us.'
