How do we keep motivated?

I am going to apologize up front for sounding like a cry baby...
I am feeling like I just want to give up on this whole baby thing because of my emotional and mental state. My cycles are so inconsistent... I am starting my 4th OPK of 7 tests tomorrow. My cycles have been longer until my last cycle, my cycle was as long as I normally take to ovulate so of course I thought my cycles would get to a more "normal" length so I have been peeing on sticks everyday with no LH surge in sight.
Do any of you have any suggestions to help with my mental/emotional state? I don't want to quit trying but I am not sure this is healthy for me.
Thanks in advance.

Have you seen an RE about this? Have you tried clomid? Clomid should help you ovulate on a more regular basis.

There are no REs where I live... I have an endocrinologist for my prolactinoma but she is not focused on the fertility issues. I am currently changing from my OBGyn... I was told by the fertility specialist at that office that she hasn't heard of cycles as long as mine and that she didn't know if Clomid would help out or not... That is just one of the reasons I am going to not use that office any longer. I could fill a prescription that I have for Clomid this next cycle... My DH is really concerned about twins. He has them on both sides of his family and I told him that it would need to run in my family, but he is a bit nervous about Clomid. From what the fertility specialist told us it would only raise the chances from a 3-4% to 10% chance... Perhaps this is my next step. Thank you for the advice. Sometimes I get into a bit of a pity party for myself and can't see the solutions.
