Angry Lost my baby:(

I went in for a routine ultrasound yesterday and got told my babys heart had stoped beating and there was no fetal movement. I went into the er today to double check to make sure. The baby measured at 11 weeks and 5 days which makes no since because thats right to date. I still cant believe it. I have every symptom still. I have had severe morning sickness since week 5 and have lost 50 pounds but they swear its normal. I dont think 50 pounds is normal but they diddnt listen. Why am I still throwing up? I dont have any bleeding or cramping. I have to go in for a D.C tomorrow. I am so scared. Ive never had any type of surgery before. I wish they would let me keep the baby so i can burry her/or him. This is the worst day of my life. it feels like half of me has died. To me I am still a mom and that will always be my first child. I know i will be able to hold my baby someday!

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I totally agree that this is your child and you are grieving just as any mother would who has lost their child. Take the time you need and be good to yourself... I hope you find peace soon.

Sorry to be clinical at a time like this, though it may be helpful to understand that they will likely ask to do chromosomal testing after the D&C so they can learn what may have caused this. Anything they can learn will help you in future pregnancies.

Heather, my heart breaks to see your post... this is how I felt with my first and second losses... I know how much your heart is hurting. Your family is in my prayers... time will heal this hurt, I promise... it won't ever go away, but it will get easier. Chin up, sweets... your angel baby will meet you again someday.

Heather, I'm so sorry for your loss. I can speak from experience that after a loss sometimes the symptoms to tend to stick around. I still had symptoms for about three weeks after my miscarriage and it was horrible. It was bad enough I'd lost my first pregnancy but to still have the symptoms made it harder for me. You ARE and WILL always be a mom for that little one, even if he/she isn't physically here with you. Plant a rose bush, buy an angel for your garden, purchase a piece of miscarriage jewelry (I did all three) if you feel it will help you to #1 grieve and #2 move forward knowing that child will always be with you, even if only in your heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Heartwillforever - I know exactly what you are feeling. When I had my first u/s at 6 1/2wks, I was told there was no heartbeat. I had another u/s a week later & it was confirmed. I was absolutely heartbroken (my first pregnancy after ttc for 2 yrs). I had my d & c nine days ago. It was also my first surgery & I was very nervous. I had a great Dr. & that really helped. He also answered any questions I had as well. I also decided to have the d & c as I wanted chromosomal testing done to see if anything caused the m/c & help for future pregnancies. This site & everyone here has been such a good support for me & has really helped me through the last few weeks. People here know what you are going through & know that you're not alone

Im so sorry for your loss. If your really worried, I dont see why they wouldnt take one last US tomm before hand. Why dont they check your betas to see if they are still going up? Ive never had a loss so late. If you have really lost this one, maybe they can do testing to find out why.

oh huny I am so sorry for your loss. I agree that your baby is always going to be ur frist child. When you find out the sex and you can. Name him or her and give the baby a place in your heart and in your life. I had two d&c. It was heard. I cried all the way into the operating room.
