Hi everybody,
It has been so many days since the last time I posted. I hope you are all doing great! I am back in Lima, Peru. The last 10 days were very busy and rough. I got here on Saturday after two days of delays: swine flu and bad weather. I left my condo last Monday; sold my bed two days before and car; movers came 10 days ago.... I had not been in a proper bed for over a week. I have been sleeping on and off the whole weekend. I am very happy to be with DH, family and friends. The reunion with DH has been like getting to know each other again. He waited for me in the aiport with the same face he had at the altar on our wedding day. We have truly missed each other a lot in the past 6 months. Coming back to my hometown is an exciting time of re-adaptation and letting go my life in the US. I am trying to live one day at a time and take it slowly. I have missed you a lot! Hugs and kisses!

Hi Claudia~Welcome home. I did have my FET and it looked good. Of the four thawed they all survived and after culturing them for two days, only two remained viable. I am hopeful that this is the time. I figure if they are strong enough to fertilize, freeze, thaw and continue growing...then they can be my miracle. Are you cycling soon?
Jessie-THinking about you!

Hi Erin,
Great news!!! I am very happy for you. I am cheering you 100%! We have to pray for a miracle for you! How are you feeling? If you need to chat, just send me a pm or e-mail or fb. My period came the week before moving back. DH and I spoke and decided we would be rushing and stressing more. I was really sleeping 4 hours a day, eating whatever and over-stressed. I felt that I was not prepared for a BFN. So, here we are trying au naturale. I have all the necessary meds to start cycling in the next available opportunity. This month of truce is doing wonders in my psyche. Dear Jessie, how are you? I hope everything is OK with you and the twins. Hugs and kisses!

Claudia-That is a great decision not to rush...it is too stressful! Next month will be here before you know it.
I do not know how to feel...all the meds! I have a nasty cold so I was thinking maybe someone implanted and my immune system took a bit of a hit????? One can hope! I am so happy you are back and online...it has been VERY quiet! Jessie-I continue to pray!

Dear Erin,
This weekend has been very hectic. On Friday one of my closest cousin threw a surprise welcome party for us. It was awesome to see many of my cousins together after so long. On Saturday, we had a niece's b-day party, we visited DH's cousin that gave birth that day (a beautiful miracle baby... she had cancer 2 years ago and was only left with one ovary; her chances of conceiving were 0% and ba ba bum!); then dinner for our 12th year wedding anniversary. Yesterday, Mother's Day with the whole family from breakfast to 8 pm. But, through all the these madness I have been praying for you and Jessie. I feel the connection with you guys and even we are thousands of miles away. How are you doing today? Isn't beta time around these days? Are you planning on POASing? OMG! Jessie, any news? Hugs and kisses!

You have been busy? Are you all settled in? How was the reunion with the DH? It has been so quiet on here! This is the first cycle that I did not get in on another cycling thread! YIKES!

Hi Erin,
How are you today? I have my fingers crossed for you. Lots of baby dust your way! We are now staying with my parents. My boxes will be getting here in one month. We have to decide where are we going to live yet. Meanwhile, my parents want us to stay as long as 10 years here. Please as soon as you have news let us know. Love!

Hi Claudia-Well it was negative...we are in a bad place. I decided to change RE's as there have been some things about my current place that are concerning to me. They are now saying my egg quality is not there...how the hell can they tell me this now. I go for my consult next Friday so hopefully I will get some answers then.
Thanks for checking in with me... how are you?

Dear Erin,
I am SO SORRY! I truly admire how are you taking your own journey to motherhood. It so unfair that you have not gotten your baby until now. I am sure IT WILL HAPPEN one way or the other. Please keep us posted on how are you doing. A huge hug!

Hi Claudia-
Well, the new RE is in the same practice but a different office so he played in pretty cool. He took the time though to explain EVERYTHING to us. We has no idea that my FSH was elevated!!!!! We decided to change to his practice and he is reviewing to prepare the protocol. We also has the karyotyping bloodwork so we want to see how that looks. How are you...are you settling in? I saw the babies...GORGEOUS! Jessie-How are you? TTYL, Erin

Hi dear Erin,
I am glad you went to that new RE and he gave you time to explain everything. I am sure it will help a lot in your future treatments. Here... we went also to another RE. Last week I visited some friends and they both love this RE. One of them is pregnant with twins (she is my age). So, we went. The appointment lasted 90 minutes. He was very explanatory. He gave me an u/s. My myoma is still there (it is located in the outer walls; I had it last time I cycled and got pregnant). He found that one of my ovaries is not aligned. He believes I may have some endometriosis there. His recommendation is to have a laparoscopy (have you had one?) and then see what happens: IUI or in-vitro again (we have to see DH's counts). Of course, he sent us back home with a bunch of lab orders. This RE is 20% more expensive than my previous one. My previous RE is ready to make my cycle again. Now, we are in the decision thinking process: Change REs? Does having a lap increase our chances for in-vitro (according to the RE, eggs aspirated can be discarded because they have molecules of inflammation)? According to my previous RE, if you remove a myoma you have to wait 6 months to cycle. According to new one, it could be immediately. Who should I believe? Too much confusion! I need some help! Love!
