Wow, that is alot. I have never had a lap so I have no clue. Did you google it? Your first RE did get you pregnant...that is something to consider. I love lab slips...they rule my life. We had a screw up at the lab and they took my DH's blood for karyotyping and then put it under another mans name. Needless to say, we are livid. It is a 10 day test so know we are starting over again! YIKES!

I pray this is our cycle!!!!

It has been so quiet on here lately! i hope everyone else is well!

Claudia..let me research your lap procedure and see what I can dig up!

Hola Erin,

OMG! That people mislabeling your samples..... I am happy they caught it on time and it can be resolved.

Yes, it is indeed a lot to take in. Yesterday I completed the information and the lap will cost the same as the ivf/icsi cycle ($4500 - for Peru is a lot). Meanwhile my previous RE is like 30% cheaper at least. He owns the clinic where the procedures are done and I believe his profit margins are better there.

So, DH and I talked this morning and he also mentioned that my previous RE got me preggo. We are going to talk with him openly and tell him what the other doctor recommended: lap to find out if there is any endo and removal of myoma.

Erin, thank you so much for your message and for giving me company in this moment. After leaving the RE's office I said to DH that I felt a huge mountain in front of me and didn't feel like climbing it. He feels I should rest and then I will be ready. He also mentioned that right now he is more open to the idea of no having kids, which I share; but of course, we agreed that if we don't do anything now in 2/3 more years it could be too late and we could regret it. At the same time, I want to start working part-time or in something that gives freedom managing my time; but, there is always one, cycling is my priority because of my age. Everybody asks me what am I going to do with my work life and I really don't want to give the whole answer. I like to work and have my own money and be independent. Sometimes life is full of decisions, decisions, and more decisions.

Mucho amor!

My friends

I posted on the other side, I don't like coming over here it remindes of of all the losses we have had the last 9 months.
Anyway I wanted to say how sorry I was for being MIA, the last loss of twins in March really hit me hard, and I just couldn't deal with the forum any more. I needed to heal and stay away from it all. We made vacation plans in June, and I had tickets to the wine festival.
Imagine my surprise when 2 months after the D&C I get a + HPT..... What the hell is this, did my BETA not go down from the D&C..... I was shocked and livid, really I was a bit mad...
I can't deal with ANOTHER LOSS....

Anyway, we had our first US and at a little less than 6 weeks (thought it was more due to REALLY high BETA numbers)
*Note: All my beta numbers were good, and they still = losses.....
So we went to our apt. ready to be sad, and guess what....
Ready ~ IDENTICAL TWINS (yes, in the same sac), I pray different placentas, but two HEARTBEATS, can you imagine what I have been through the past 2 weeks, INSANE....
I read your last posts, and I know you both are having a hard time with where you are at, and boy do I understand, but this is a miracle and I know there will be more to follow. I'm really trying to breath love and light and most of all faith into this, and it's hard, but I really try and think about the twins and a healthy pregnancy.... I hope I don't have to report differently, or I will again go into my little hole, but for TODAY, I feel like God has given me a huge gift....
yes, I'm scared about the twins. After the last loss of twins, we found out I have a blood disorder, so I have to take heprin 2X's a day, and baby asprin, but I was given a 5% chance to conceive naturally, so this has to be our miracle right???? I pray?
I miss you guys, and I just want you to know that I do think about you both....

OMG!!! Twice the blessings!! DREEEEEEEE!!! CONGRATULATIONS! I am completely happy for you. I have been thinking of you a lot in the last months and I am so excited to witness your miracle. As Erin said, please know you are in my prayers.

As for me, today we went again to my original RE here in Lima. He told me that indeed I had two focus of endo (he saw them last year when he did my lap for ZIFT). He believes that I do not need a lap, so we should just proceed. I will be cycling again in one month. We are happy and more relaxed. Now, I will start doing accupuncture.

Erin, how are you honey? Any special plans for your Bday?

Love to both of you!

Thank you guys, and again I'm far from being out of the woods, but If I can send hope to anyone, that would be great.
My sadness isn't gone, it's more fear based excitment. I just keep thinking that God has to want these little ones or why would he do another MC, I know that sets me up for possible heartbreak, but I'm holding on to graps of hope and faith.....

Claudia good luck in a month, are they sure the endo will not affect your transfer?
Erin do you have another plan?

Hi Girls-

Well i got my genetic testing back (karotyping) and I am a normal female. What a relief. I am optimistic that my hubby is fine too. It is nice to put that thought to rest. I go for an u/s on Monday and then start microdose lupron on Thursday. I really like my new RE but I am scared about the new protocol...have you heard anything about the microdose lupron protocol?

Lotsa love!

Hi!!

Erin, CONGRATULATIONS!! One less thing to worry about. I will also follow a new protocol next time and I am lit bit nervous. We will do the antagonist. But, if that is the way to get more eggs, I will be pleased. I had bought everything including Lupron .... RE said on Monday that I shouldn't get rid of it since we might use it. ARE WE CYCLING TOGETHER??? It will be totally awesome. I sign up for the July thread but I feel out of the loop and it is not very active.

Dre, I know how you feel and completely understand you. I am a believer in that everything happens for a reason and sometimes it is very hard to understand. I will pray for you and your twins.... WOW! Still very excited.

As for me, I had also that endo last year when I cycled. Accordingly to my RE, doing the lap would only help for Stage II to IV of endo.

Kisses to both!

Hi girls,

Hope you are all doing well. I had a setback this week! I inquired to my RE about DHA...I heard it has benefits in fetal development. THey said it was fine to take. So, I went to the pharmacy to get it as a supplement as I already have a three month supply of vitamins. So, I have been taking it for about a month. When I went in for my b/w to see if I could begin, my E2 level was through the roof...148 and my FSh was .4. What is going on!!!! So I went home devastated because they cancelled my cycle. I was seeing if there was somehting in my vitamins and then I realized that I had been taking DHEA....yup! I was relieved when I read that it can cause E2 levels to rise! So now, they are retesting me in July and I am having my ER and ET in mid August.

Hope you are all well!

Erin, OMG!!!!! Not fun.... but I am glad they have an explanation for why your E2 was so high. For a long time I thought about taking DHA because of all the benefits that had been discussed in the forum.

I am trying to remain relaxed. This Friday I have a job interview with the President of a university here. Maybe I can teach a class there. Later, I will have a week full of b-days in my family. It will be fun and won't have time to think about my upcoming cycle.

Hugs and kisses to everyone!!

Thank you Erin! I saw your greeting at FB too. I had a very nice quiet Bday, partly because I was recovering from my 4-day weekend with my brother here. He had a great party on Saturday and I was in charge of the whole organization. It was a success and we had lots of fun until very early on Father's Day.

How are you doing?

Hi Claudia-I am hanging in there. I got my protocol so I feel like I am back on track after my DHEA mess! Did you get your protocol yet?

Dre-How are you? Please post when you have time so we know you are doing okay!

Yes, Dre, please post so we can check on you!

AF will come on 6/30 or 7/1. Then, off to clinic for baseline measurements. I will be in the antagonist protocol this time, so no Lupron for me. I am trying to be cool about cycling again. I am going to the accupunturist now: he says "I need more heat in my kidneys".

Hugs and kisses!
