Hello girls,

I am preparing a presentation for tomorrow afternoon... I am little behind.

My ER will be on Wednesday. I am kind of nervous but I truly believe that what has to happen will happen. I feel bloated and with a huge tummy.

I hope your are all having a great weekend!

Hi girls!

I had a kind of scary afternoon yesterday.... Went to RE and during u/s I could see many follicles over 20 x 20 mm. My total number of follies: 18! (my best ever). Then talked with RE and he said we were ready to go: ER tomorrow Wednesday, very early morning.

Well, I made all my questions about the quality of eggs given the size. I have been using Cetrozide for three days to prevent egg rupture. My lining is 10, he said it is Ok. So, he told me to trigger last night with just 5,000 HcG. He told me to be quiet today.

Well, came back home and checked online my E2 results from yesterday: 10,160! OMG! Sounded as OHSS to us.

DH and I did some quick research and called him. RE said that everything is under control and he has every risked measured.

With all these doubts/fears we triggered last night. PLEASE WISH ME LUCK/PRAY FOR US!

As of today, I have to give a class in a university. It is part of their recruiting process so I will be busy on that and then rest.

I miss you soooo much!!

Unhappy new: still hurting quite a bit

Hi, I'm new. My name is Wanessa.
Just last thursday DH and I went to our OB appointment for a NT scan, we were to be 12wks and 5days.
We then got the most devastating news, our baby had stopped growing at 9wks and there was no heartbeat.
I had some very mild spotting on tuesday and wednesday but it was just early in the morning and very, very mild. My OB and nurses assured me that it was normal and all, clearly it wasn't.
With all that, my Ob went on vacation and I had to see one of his partners.
They couldn't get me in on Friday for my D&C so they made me wait until Monday late in the afternoon.
Well, our D&C was yesterday. I was very freaked out but to my surprise I was not bawling like crazy.
Today, well, sure enough I have some pain and some spotting but nothing too bad.
I'm suppose to go to work tomorrow and I'm a little scared of that.
I'm still having moments of crying out of the blue and I'm affraid of doing that at work.
I'm also affraid of being judged and the stare looks that I might get. I'm not sure I'm ready to talk (meaning speak) about this yet. Writing is much easier.
This has been long enough....maybe way too long.
Sorry ladies.
I'm still hurting that's all I wanted to say.

Wanessa, I am very sorry for your sudden loss! It is trully a hard time on us and DHs. I remember that the first 2 weeks were the worst. Then, it eases out as the physical discomfort goes away. For a whole week, I did not want to talk to ANYONE! I was so hurt. Take your time to heal and recover.

Love!

Ana, thanks a lot for "stopping by" and visit us here. LOL!!! I really appreciate your words.

Drumrolls please:

14 eggs retrieved
14 mature
14 fertilized
1 "abnormal"
1 "in observation"

Tomorrow we will learn if we do a 3-day or 5-day transfer.

We are very happy but with lots of caution this time around.

Please continue sending all your good vibes and prayers all the way to Lima, Peru.

Love, hugs and kisses!

Odd question about sore bbs

Ok, I had my D&C this monday and I'm still trying to recouperate from it, physically and emotionally.

I have noticed that my bbs are SUPER sensitive and sore. More so than before my D&C. Is this normal?
Why is this happening!? Anyone experienced anything like that?

It's hard enough loosing our baby.....feeling these pregnancy symptoms makes everything so much harder.

Yes, you will still feel that way until your hCG lowers to 0. Sorry for your loss!
